Description

Chalet Regain is a pre-French Revolution barn that has been lovingly converted into a chalet and has been modernised and renovated in recent years. It sits by the piste in Plan Peisey village in the Heart of the Paradiski area and is just seconds away from the nearest lift (le parchay) into the Peisey Vallandry/ Les Arcs ski area. The chalet is also an easy 5 minute walk away from the main shops, bars and restaurants of Plan Peisey village and just a couple of minutes walk from the popular La Vache restaurant and bar. The chalet has a quirky design and layout with flexible sleeping which means it can accommodate 5 couples but a few more than this if there are single people as well. The chalet oozes homeliness and charm without being ostentatious or over the top and there is lots of comfortable space in the social areas for relaxing and eating. It is offered on a self-catered basis and we DO provide blankets, duvets and pillows, but NOT SHEETS and TOWELS so you need to bring these out with you or hire them through our cleaner for a charge of £25 per person.

The chalet does not have wifi but free wifi is available at La Vache a 2 minute walk away. A few guests have actually commented that they prefer not having wifi as people actually talk to each other rather than staring at their phones!

The chalet is great value for a group on a budget and is comfy though not in the luxury bracket.

Please note that after feedback from guests all bookings from 2016 are Sunday to Sunday as this mitigates transfer chaos in the valley, means cheaper flights and an empty day skiing on the Saturday when everyone is in their car! We generally only take weekly bookings but will consider shorter stays (3 nights minimum).
