- Very Good
We really enjoyed the ourselves here. The area around the cottage was quiet and yes you do see bears but they didn't bother us and we didn't bother them. The cottage was comfortable and clean. It had what you needed in the kitchen to fix a meal without bringing it from home. We really enjoyed the hot tub also.we would recommend this to others, but please don't drive a van up or down in this area.
The place was awesome. Plenty of room, everything you needed was there and Carol and Tim (the owners) were so nice and helpful. The roads were a little rough and scary but I would recommend this place to anyone. Excellent. Convenient to downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.
“We would stay again”
We really enjoyed our stay at Canterbury Cottage. We enjoyed the nice, comfy beds; the hot tub and huge jetted tub; the back deck. When the BBQ pit needed propane, the owners had someone bring some over quickly. We also were able to see black bears right outside our cottage.
Its a great and beautiful vacation home! everything you would need is available, maintained. Fully surrounded by greens, quiet and peaceful. A Jacuzzi on the deck was rejuvenating when we arrived after an 11 hour long drive. Overall it was much more than we expected really! Loved it. And not to forget, the hosts are really nice - Tim and Carol. Had to call them a couple of times for some things as we were new to the place and they were always there to help out.
We enjoyed our stay very much! The cottage was clean and had pretty much everything. The owners..Tim and Carol...we're very informative, quick to respond and friendly. The only downfall is the road leading up to the cottage. It is very steep and rugged. Summer months probably wouldn't be an issue but winter is.
We absolutely loved our stay at this Cottage! It was awesome the owners were awesome also. We will stay here again. It was clean and very roomy! We got to see Bears! The beds were comfy the bathtub was huge! I would recommend this for anyone staying in Gatlingburg!
“Nice little cabin”
It was a nice little cabin with everything furnished. Even had a computer and a phone that you could use. I enjoyed my stay there. Finding it and going up that mountain had a lot to desire thou, I couldn't find it at first even with GPS. The road zig zags and is very narrow in spots. After three days I was able to find the cabin Ok.
