Description
Well appointed and tastefully decorated, Grand View provides you with peace, quiet, and breathtaking views. The wrap around porch offers amazing views of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, or if its too chilly outside, one can enjoy the gorgeous views from any spot in the living room - dining room - kitchen area. In addition, located on the lower deck is a private Jacuzzi tub room, where you can soak and relax after a full day of hiking or exploring the surrounding area. Grand View comfortably sleeps 6 with 3 bedrooms (1 King, 2 Queen) and 1.5 bathrooms (1/2 bath off bedroom with king bed).
There is a charcoal grill available for grilling, however charcoal is not provided at Grand View and firewood for fire pit can be found locally for $10 a bundle.

We appreciate you sharing "a few things to keep in mind" and would like to address those. 1) the road is an uphill dirt/gravel road, however we've never had any car not be able to make it up the road - we recommend taking it nice and easy when driving up and do recommend 4WD when inclement weather 2) we found out that the smell you experienced is not animal feces however it came from the chicken farm that's located in the mountains about a mile away and unfortunately that smell does happen when it's been hot and the winds blow a certain direction (up-wind), it doesn't happen very often (as evidenced by past reviews) but it is a very unpleasant smell (we're very sorry you experienced this during your stay). 3) we've recently been made aware that Verizon is having connectivity issues in this area and are letting our guests know All in all, we're glad you had an awesome time and we're always delighted when our guests return for future visits!
