La Sirena is our stunning, brand new, 1 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment located in Casa Caramba, our complex which includes the owner's home, a 2/2 apartment (El Nido), an art studio and gallery space, plus fabulous rooftop gardens filled with herbs, veggies, flowers and fruits, not to mention incredible sunset views.

The property was transformed from a hovel in 2012 to an imaginative, inspiring, and artfully green home away from home, ready for guests in Spring 2014. With it's gorgeous colors and finishes, guests say it is like living in Diane's paintings.

La Sirena is perfect for a single or couple with a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, with private patio adjacent to courtyard. Includes access to roof top garden with fresh herbs, vegetables and flowers. Has solar electricity, solar hot water, rainwater harvesting and green features.??The bedroom has a comfortable Queen bed with and original hand painted furniture with the adjacent bath is featuring iridescent hand painted tiles.

The great room has an open plan with kitchen, dining area and living area. Living area has large TV with DVD, sound system for your iPod, cable TV. The patio is off the great room is set up for dining al fresco and has a beautiful courtyard with mosaic fountain next to it.

Includes access to incredible green roof garden with fruit trees, herbs, veggies and flowers, all available for your use. We have guava, pomegranate, limes, lemons, mandarins, papaya, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, figs, and grapes, plus mint, rosemary, thyme, oregano, sage, and a seasonal assortment of veggies.

Casa Caramba and La Sirena are located in the desirable neighborhood of Guadalupe--The Arts District, with fabulous murals...about 5 blocks to Via Organica and 12 min. flat walk to the Jardin. There are two tiny markets within a 1/2 block.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Diane (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
