This beautiful teak wood Joglo Villa sits on 8,000 sq ft of lush, landscaped land. It is located in the private residential community of Living Light, in the premier suburb of Sayan in Ubud near prestigious resorts. It has perfect ambience for a family holiday or those seeking a peaceful retreat. It is part of a gated community with sprawling grounds, lush gardens, a yoga & meditation pavilion, an elegant club house and Cafe and a 30-meter lap pool.
The location is a short walk from the Four Seasons and St Regis resorts in Sayan. The picturesque Ayung River is nearby. This is where one can get lost in the timeless beauty of rolling rice fields, forests and distant mountains. The atmosphere is absolutely serene and refreshing to the senses. And when you need to indulge a little, there are high quality restaurants within easy reach in the neighbourhood. Should you have the urge to reconnect with civilization, and take in he noise of the city, you can head to Ubud town centre which is only 10 minutes by car, or an easy 20-minutes walk through the rice paddies.
The main Joglo Villa has a super large Day Bed in the Living area, in addition to the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, which can comfortably sleep two adults. There is also another convertible room with a single sofa-bed. A second spacious master bedroom is in the outhouse, which is air-conditioned and offers total privacy. It has ensuite bath and an outdoor shower.
At Villa Achintya, you will get the best of both worlds -- a natural, refreshing retreat which is away from it all, and yet close enough to everything you need to remain connected!
