Welcome to Banksia Cottage. The perfect place to relax, refresh and revive!

Built in 1898, this romantic and enchanting two bedroom cottage, offers a combination of historic charm and heart warming character, while being perfectly complimented with all your modern day comforts.

Conveniently located on the city's doorstep in a quiet tree lined street adjacent to a large grassed playground, Banksia Cottage is within walking distance to the cafes, shops, pubs and CBD.

Featuring two bedrooms, open plan living, fireplace (wood supplied) and a large well-equipped country kitchen, the cottage is fully self-contained and can accommodate guests for 2 nights or 2 months.

The gorgeous front veranda provides a perfect spot to sit and take in the delightful garden while enjoying your complimentary refreshments. And if holidaying with your beloved pooch is on your wish list, then bring them along too! Only well behaved and quiet dogs need apply.

For our guests comfort and wellbeing, we provide hotel quality, professionally laundered and pressed linen. You won't find any wrinkled, unironed sheets here!!

Banksia Cottage is available all year round for short or long term stays, be it for business or pleasure. Prices quoted are for rental of the entire cottage so guests can relax knowing they will have the uninterrupted privacy and freedom, essential for any romantic getaway or revitalising family stay.

Public transport is extremely close by with a bus stop only a few metres from the cottage. We are only a 10-15 minute stroll to the city centre so getting around Toowoomba is a breeze. If Angela (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
