A self-contained, self-catering, own entrance attached cottage.

This is a beautiful little cottage affectionately called 'The Corner House' because it is set on the corner of Olive Grove Farmhouse. It has been converted from animal and storage rooms and now offers modern day comforts yet still retaining Andalucian characteristics.

The Corner House is very nicely finished with comfortable accommodation which includes a comfortable double bedroom with ensuite shower room, a well-fitted kitchen/diner, and a good size salon.

An additional small twin bedroom is available with a shower-room at an extra €15/night for one person and €25/night for 2 people.

Extra guests may also sleep on the day beds in the salon for €10/night each - this will mean sharing the upstairs ensuite shower-room.

For hot summer days we have a large splash pool for cooling off. For cold winter days there is a log burner which keeps the cottage warm and cosy.

We have various terraces outside to sit out on including a covered dining area. There is a large splash pool which is a must for cooling off on hot summer days! The views here are outstanding. There are beautiful walks and for the more energetic there are bikes to use. There is plenty of car parking space and road access is good. Dogs are welcome if well-behaved and house-trained, at an extra charge.

Local bars still offer beer and tapas for only 1.20 euro! There are local shops 10 minutes away. The main town Alcala La Real (15km away) offers all a main town has to offer and has a significant historical castle.

The world-ronown Alhambra at Granada is an hour away and the Mezquito at Cordoba under 2 hours away. The coast is an hour and a half and the Sierra Nevada for skiing is just over the hour.

This is a great location for a variety of holidays. It can be a time of queitness, a time for sightseeing, walking, painting, or a combination of all those things. It is rural and secluded here but not remote. Our Spanish neighbours are kind and friendly.

Rental includes wifi, gas and electricty (logs in the winter) depending on length of stay.

We are growing and developing at Olive Grove Farmhouse. Olive Grove Farmhouse is part of a Cortijo of 6 houses set amongst olive groves on the outskirts of the small village of Trujillos. Views to the Sierra Morena and Sierra Nevada are spectacular.

There are some beautiful drives and walks into the hills and along the valleys. .It is a rural area here but not remote. Several villages and towns are in easy reach offering bars, cafes, restaurants and historical places of interest to visit. The area is great for walking, biking, horse riding and many other outdoor activities. Painting holidays have become very popular with wonderful landscapes to sketch and paint.
