Beautiful fully furnished newly renovated 2 bedroom 2 bathroom beach house on second row 50 meters from the beach in Chuburna Puerto. Brand new renovations make this an ideal choice for those looking for a touch of modern comfort combined with traditional decor. Air conditioning in both bedrooms as well as main living area. and hot water with pressurized system.

Fully fenced back yard features large 4m x 6m filtered swimming pool, terraced deck and flower gardens - very spacious and private with southern exposure so there is LOTS of sunshine all day long . Outdoor shower and toilet.

There is a wonderful covered terrace in the front which provides a great place to hang your hammock and laze away the afternoon while being gently wafted by the breezes from the Gulf of Mexico just across the street.

Getting around

Combis frequently run on Calle 9 between Chuburna and Progreso every day approximately every half hour or less, are very cheap and about a 5 minute walk from la Casita Leila. From Progreso it is easy to catch a bus into Merida. From Merida it is easy to go anywhere. I can also connect you with reliable local moto - taxi drivers.

Interaction with guest

Neighbour acts as on call caretaker in case of emergencies and will ensure you are happy with everything during your stay.

Due to the new addition of palapa grass in the back yard, smoking is strictly forbidden in this area! If you absolutely must smoke it is only permitted on the front terrace and you are expected to dispose of your butts in a responsible manner. Failure to abide by this rule will result in forfeiture of your security deposit. Anyone caught smoking inside of the house will be subject to immediate eviction!
