Santa Cruz Ocean View Home: Located only one block from the beach, this is a two-story, designer home with an open-architecture style and cathedral type ceilings. Big windows and a gridwork of glass allows in plenty of light. The upstairs bedroom opens to a private deck from where you can view the ocean. Downstairs, a large wraparound deck, bathed in sunshine overlooks a stunning garden filled with beautiful plants and rocks and a bevy of doves, finches, blue-jays and red-winged blackbirds. Garden lights beam up the trees at night and summer nights provide an occasion to sit in the hot tub and enjoy the clear starry nights in complete privacy.

This home sleeps 6 with 2 bedrooms, a large open living space (living room & kitchen), one large bathroom and plenty of patios. Downstairs bedroom has a queen-bed and a stowaway single bed. The upstairs has a queen-bed and a pillow-top daybed. The tropical secluded backyard has a large wraparound deck, a hot-tub, a hot & cold shower, a BBQ, dining table & chairs.

Awesome,clean and quiet place, lots of space and friendly neighborhood. Lots of delicious food places in walking distance and beatiful beach.

Great place to get away!! We had a great time this weekend in Santa Cruz and huge part of that. The layout of the home made it easy to relax and enjoy the indoors and out. With our 2 year old running about having a backyard that was enclosed worked out extremely well and the hot tub was a great place to relax after a long day of going to the beach and seeing the sites in Santa Cruz. The owner Shyamal was easy to contact and great to work with. We were able to meet with him on check in and if we needed him he was just a phone call away. Overall he made it easy to enjoy his home and I am sure anyone else would say the same. We had a great time and are already planning our trip back!! Jason

My boyfriend and I stayed at this cute little beach house with my 2 year old daughter. We loved the layout! It was so close to the beach and the backyard was secluded. It had all the amenities that a house would need (pots, pans, plates, seasonings, etc..) The house was clean and had so many little fun funky features. I would recommend everyone to stay here. The owner is very friendly and the home itself is beautiful. There is pleanty to do for anyone of all ages! I hope you enjoy this awesome vacation home as much as we did!

Our weekend vacation was great. The house is located only a block from the ocean, in a quiet neighborhood. It has everything one would want in a vacation rental with all the amenities. The deck and the hot tub were very inviting. You are very close to the boardwalk, restaurants, and all the Santa Cruz attractions. The house is located in a great location with privacy and entertainment very near. We look forward to our return trip later this year.

We arrived, unpacked and walked to the beach to check out the water and walk over to the Harbor where we have a friend living on his boat. We love how open the kitchen area is. Very nice! Lots of room for our guests that would arrive the next day for my husbands birthday party. We brought extra tables and set them out on the outside deck with cheese fondue, appetizers and wine. We brought a few extra chairs for our company. The back yard is an oasis. All of our guests were comfortable and relaxed in that setting. We loved the small water features you have placed around the deck with plants in them. They host some small frogs that croak and add their music to the back yard area. You feel secluded back there. After the party we took a soak in the hot tub and listened to the frogs and crickets singing together. Beautiful. The master suit was large yet cozy. We were Very comfy and cozy. *The neighborhood is very quiet. *Parking was never an issue with the party guests nor neighbors. The next morning we went out to breakfast at the Windmill Café. Very wholesome food and a quaint setting. Later in the evening we ran into friends who live locally, invited them over and ate up all of our leftovers with them. They too loved your home and think that they might rent from you when their family come to visit. The home is much larger than we expected. There are so many cozy places to sit and relax, read a book or take a well deserved nap. I'd rent this home again. Cam

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this house, which was our second. It is within easy walking distance to a nice beach that we strolled along to get to the harbor (which has a couple nice spots to eat). The house is very cozy with views of the ocean from spots upstairs, and it was recently upgraded with HD tv which was nice. There are several places inside and out to enjoy the sun due to the unique design and mulitple decks. The foilage in the backyard has grown in nicely and provides great privacy in the peaceful backyard. Parking is also easy on the very quiet street. Due to all the amenities and reasonable price, this is our " go to" house in Santa Cruz.
