Description
This light and airy villa, set in its own grounds and only a 5-minute walk to the golden beach and close to facilities, has a very spacious living space leading onto a front terrace with lovely views of the sea. Colourful furnishings, and large picture windows that allow in the sunlight create an informal holiday feel from the moment you walk in. Four twin bedrooms and 2 bathrooms make it a great family home for a beach holiday in Porto Santo.
The house is ideal for one or two families, having plenty of yard space and lounge and dining areas that can be separated by a sliding door.
Only a 5-minute walk to the gorgeous golden sandy beach and less to the closest bars and mini-market make it the perfect location to enjoy a beach holiday in Porto Santo.
Cars, Twizzy's and Quad Bikes are available for hire in the village. However, the location of the villa means you only need to go into town for a large supermarket shop or for an evening visit, in which case taxis are plentiful and reasonably priced.
The seating area leads though to the dining area via a wide arch with sliding doors (that you can keep open or close if you wish to have some quiet moments!). Both lead to the covered terrace that runs along the front of the house, great for alfresco dining or just appreciating the view. The fully equipped kitchen opens up to the dining area; on the lounge side, an open area is used for all the beach paraphernalia (a sun umbrella, wind-breaker, beach mats and cool box are available for guest's use) and to keep the two bicycles.
This is a house of two mirrored halves; two bedrooms and a shower room are off the lounge, and on the opposite side, a further two bedrooms and a shower room are off the dining room.

An outdoor shower allows you to clean off the golden sand .

We were surprised with regard to the comment regarding chairs as, in addition to the lounge armchairs and sofa, there are an additional 12 chairs in the villa for guests use. In our experience, most guests prefer to go to the beach, a short walk away, than to catch sun at the villa, but we will ensure sunbeams are available for next summer. We are very pleased you enjoyed your stay at Villa Mary. As you say, it is very well positioned close to the beach and with facilities close by.
