“Amazing place to stay!”

Reviewed 2 Aug 2021

We couldn't fault the property we stayed in. Plenty of space for everyone so we didn't get in each others way. Plenty of garden space for young children to run around. Lovely views as well! It was about a 40 minute drive to Weymouth sea front which was ok. Went to the local pub Gaggle of Geese which was lovely and great for families with young children.

Response from the owner Thank you for staying at Crowthorne, I am glad you enjoyed your stay. Crowthorne is set on its own, about a third of a mile down our quiet country lane from our other cottages at Bookham Court. As you say the benefit is that you are on your own with an enclosed garden, ideal for dogs. I am sorry you didn't see many fish, the lake is fully stocked and guests do report seeing a lot of fish but this can depend on the time of year and weather. Best wishes for the rest of 2020 Nicola
