Description

Casa del fràvo: simply a fabulous and unique location in Rovinj! A house with almost 500 square metres garden in the centre of Rovinj. A house in the pedestrian area with the possibility to park up to two cars on its private plot. Everything is within few minutes walk: the grocery shops, the best bakery and pastry shops, the green market, the restaurants, but also both the bus and the taxi station, the pharmacy, the doctor, the Public library… The sea is distant only 200 metres from the house and the main town square with its picturesque port 300 metres.

“Casa del fràvo” is a typical old house of Rovinj, put under Ministerial protection, renovated in winter 2015. With its 1 metre wide stone walls it offers natural insulation. Since we really do care about nature and human well-being, all furniture - besides the kitchen - is made of natural massive wood, custom made by a local cabinet-maker, treated with eco oil and water based paint.

The ground floor is an open space with a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and a living area with SAT TV. There is also a bathroom with shower and a washing machine. On the first floor there are three double rooms and another bathroom with shower. There is an outdoor dining area with a grill and in the garden, we've planted aromatic herbs and some tomatoes, courgettes and Mediterranean herbs to make your stay in our house unforgettable. We provide free WI-FI too.

We adore our city and that is why we've prepared a small “guide” to make you experience our town as a true local. We'll share with you the information where do the locals have coffee, buy groceries or presents, have a pizza or a nice dinner…. You can just relax and act as a complete hedonist. Or if you feel adventurous we'll give you indications what can you discover in the whole region of Istria.

That is why we provide a picnic basket and a blanket, too.So that you can rent a bike and just enjoy our town and its surroundings, parks and islands... And since many of our guests travel by plane, we provide beach towels upon request, so you do not to overweight your luggage (we provide them free of charge if you turn them in undamaged).
