Description

Semi-detached 3 bedroom house over two levels located on Cooper St, kitchen bathroom and lounge on ground floor with bedrooms upstairs. Bathroom with Bath and Electric Shower are on the ground floor.

We have TV with free view, DVD player and free wifi. There are loads of books in the house, please read and take them away with you if you haven't finished reading, and leave yours for others to enjoy.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, air fryer, George foreman , microwave and Tassimo coffee maker, be sure to take your favourite pods.

Bath, hand and tea towels are provided.

The property benefits from a sunny enclosed rear garden with grassed area and Patio. Drying green, garden chairs and seating area, with bbq.

Parking either on street to the front of the house or on a short sloped private drive.

We will provide a welcome pack to get you settled in.

We can also provide a Travel Cot but advise that you bring your own Cot mattress & bedding. We Have available a highchair, buggy and a pushchair. Bedsides and stair gates can be provided.

There are other items which we may be able to provide to save you room in the car, please ask in advance.

We have kept our house smoke and pet free. There are ashtrays in the garden areas.

Our aim is for you to have a pleasant stay, if you have special requirements, please ask.

Within a few minutes' walk you will find a Butchers; Cafe and ice cream shop; two public bars, The Braemou and The Station Hotel plus a Bowling and a Golf club: Chemist; Post Office; Hairdresser; Fish & Chip shop and a Chinese take away. There are two churches in the village, Church of Scotland and Baptist.

A short walk will take you to the harbour and village green with playing fields, a playground, a purpose built skate park and two unspoilt sandy beaches. The West beach is the smaller and the East beach is surrounded by grassy sand dunes and the much photographed colourful beach huts and close by a you will also find the Braemou Well (said to have healing properties). Venture further along a footpath to arrive at a smaller hidden sandy beach with stones, large rock formations and a lovely grassed area to relax, have a picnic and perhaps spot a Dolphin or two.

There is a Golf Course in Hopeman, Lossiemouth and Elgin. The Hopeman Course includes the famous 12th Hole, named Prieshach, where the green is located within a cove named the Clashach 100ft below the level of the tee box.

Hopeman is a lovely friendly seaside village within easy reach of a wide range of activities

“Comfortable, spacious house with everything you need.”

Just returned from a 3 night break at Bal Mara, Hopeman and was not disappointed. We were welcomed by Rhona who made us feel at home from the minute we met, nothing was too much trouble. A welcome pack was provided which was much appreciated. The house was clean, warm, well equipped, with towels & good quality bed linen. Only a short walk to the beach, harbour and big play park for the kids. Lots of lovely walks & caves to explore along the shoreline in both directions. Well worth a visit, we loved it. Keep up the good work Rhona.

Fine council house style accommodation. Well equipped kitchen though pots a little tired. Kitchen smelled of smoke but lots of air helped alleviate. Comfy lounge. Bit pricey for accommodation but nice enough.

Response from the owner While all comments, opinions and suggestions are welcomed we wish to point out that at no time has the property had any smell of smoke. This has been a strictly no smoking house over the past 4 years of our ownership. Although it is a Council style build we would like to point out to potential guests that it is fully modernised and benefits from a secluded rear garden and patio in a pleasant highly sought after private residential area. Regarding a comment tired pans - we have taken that on board and will now check the state of pans after each occupancy as we have now found that one pan purchased in Jan will now need replaced due to burnt, scratched base. We do not ask for a damages deposit and we will not make any charge for minor item damage but hope that damages are pointed out at end of stay so that we can ensure the item is replaced prior to next guest arrival, a point this recent guest should bear in mind when they are staying at a 'Different' holiday house in the future. (without listing the minor items - a brand new £80 vertical blind was damaged and the stair bannister has had to be repaired)
