Upon arrival you will be greeted with a basket of local, organic, seasonal fruit and a bottle of white wine!
Casa dos Avos, is a clean, charming, relaxing, typical Algarvian villa.
It features all ceramic tiled floor. Eat-in kitchen, equipped with everything you'll need to prepare a delicious meal, if you choose to! 3 bedrooms. 2 baths:1 bathroom is on the 1st floor & 2nd bathroom is outside with shower, in the little laundry house! There's also a large upstairs loft with a table to play games, TV, sofa, 2 chairs. a reading lamp and an outdoor veranda for star gazing!

This villa is located between two historical towns of Sao Bras and Estoi where you can visit the Roman Ruins and many other local historical sites.
There are many restaurants in both towns featuring local specialties. It is located only 20 minutes from Faro airport, golf courses, and the beautiful coast where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic Ocean; the water is warm and calm.

“Small but nice villa in Algarve”
We stayed in this villa in July 2021. It’s ok for a self contained holiday since we wanted to escape resorts due to pandemic. We had good holiday overall except that we didn’t know that there were hidden cameras in the property which we reported to owner who claimed they were switched off which I doubt it as they were working so we taped them as soon as we found out about them. So be careful if you don’t want to be caught in the act! Living room area is very small and bedrooms were ok in size. Decent outdoor space and bbq area which we enjoyed on most days. Pool area is good with a nice size pool. We reported some faults with air conditioner which was taken care of by John who manages the property with her wife who met her on our arrival at a nearby village cafe. Sun umbrellas were broken so we got two new ones the next day. Car is a must as it inland and around 30 minutes by car to the sea and coastal cities. The nearest shop is around 10 minutes drive. Overall a good villa for a secluded family holiday but it could be kept in better condition than it is as owner lives abroad.

Response from the owner So sorry for the inconvenience but as soon I noticed that the house was doubled booked I advised you and the apartment that I was offering had one bedroom and a sofa bed in living room and it was right on the beach. So sorry I was just trying to accommodate after my mistake, first and last time!!

Response from the owner So sorry for all the inconvenience, smoke alarm was replaced, first time I heard about the cleaning problem, I spoke to people in charge and will make sure everything will be fixed . The pool is cleaned and PH of water checked every few days . I just spent 3 weeks in the villa like I do every year to make sure everything is in order for summer. Deep cleaning is done in between guests. I try very hard to keep the villa in the best possible condition. Thank you for feed back!! Maria

“Awesome Stay...”
We stayed at the Property for 10 nights and what a lovely place it is... The pool was a lovely size, deck chairs to relax dining table to eat out in the sun and barbecue to prepare the food. The beds are comfy kitchen and lounge/bedroom upstairs to relax of an evening or to catch a film with the family. Over all rating 5 stars from us. Definatley recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing and chilled week or 2 in the peaceful surroundings!
