5* luxury - 29 County House is centrally located at the front and on the 1st floor (lift access) of this stunning building. Fully equipped, maintained and serviced to the highest standards for our guests' comfort and relaxation. Ideally located for a York City holiday for any age - with restaurants, shopping, history, art, museums, exhibitions and attractions, festivals, river-boats and walks all accessible on foot. The outstanding Yorkshire Dales, Moors, Coastal resorts (Whitby, Filey, Scarborough), Historic Houses (eg. Castle Howard) and Market-towns nearby by car or train.
The accommodation is on 2 levels offering 2 spacious bedrooms (bedroom 2 (upstairs) can be King or 2 x Single beds) with plumptious duvets and pillows as well as luxurious, high thread-count bed-linen. At entry level there is a huge lounge with reclining sofas, TV/DVD and Bluetooth music system, the Master Bedroom with walk-in wardrobe and wall-mounted TV/DVD plus the Family bathroom with step-in drench-shower (no Bath). From the spacious hall go upstairs to Bedroom 2, a second shower-room and also the unique open-plan galleried dining room/kitchen looking out to the front of the building. Modern furnishings, lots of cushions and accessories, and fresh, soft, white bath-towels are all provided. Secure parking is available for one car and a large supermarket is just around the corner.
So ... take a walk on the ancient Roman Walls around the city, hire a bike (secure bike-store on site), try a City-Bus tour, a river-boat trip, or, if you're up for it, a Ghost Walk ... whatever your choice you can return to your apartment to relax, re-charge and enjoy the memory of each day.

“Excellent accommodation”
Well maintained properly in an excellent location. Very Clean and spacious. Well equipped kitchen everything you need for a break in york. All amenities are within walking distance which is a bonus! Highly recommended this property and look forward to future visits

“August 2020 stay in York”
