The Kailani Suite's panoramic ocean view will connect you to the heavenly ocean in a breathtaking and some say "mystical experience " only Hana can provide.

The owners of Bamboo Valley Inn in Haiku, Maui are now offering a one bedroom suite in tranquil Hana. This suite, located at Hana Kai Maui Resort is a top floor corner suite which provides exceptional privacy, expansive ocean views and the sounds of the ocean from every room.

With a total living space of 850 square feet (including covered lanai's) the Kailani Suite will allow you to unwind and relax after your drive to Hana. With a 200 square foot covered lanai, the sights and sounds of the Pacific Ocean provide a focal point for your outdoor dining and relaxation. Guests generally find that they spend a majority of time on the lanai. From morning coffee to romantic dinners and everything in between, the lanai provides the utmost in views, serenity and spaciousness.

The bedroom, with a queen bed, also has an additional lanai with seating area. Gentle breezes blow through the rooms; an added benefit of a top floor corner suite. From your room, you will be lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves on the beach below.

The living room with queen size futon couch and two futon chairs provides comfortable seating for reading, games and conversation. Wide double sliding doors open the living room up to the lanai and the vast ocean view. We strongly suggest "unplugging" while in Hana, however if connecting to the outside world is necessary, free dedicated Kailani suite wi-fi and cable television are provided in both living room and bedroom (the only suite to offer this at Hana Kai resort).

Our kitchen, with full size refrigerator, glass top stove, microwave, coffee maker, blender has all the supplies you will need to create a memorable meal. The pass through window with breakfast bar from kitchen to lanai allows the chef in your family to enjoy the views and conversation while busy in the kitchen.

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by fresh tropical flowers, chilled bottled water and breakfast tray with continental items, coffee and tea.

While staying as our guest, you will have complementary use of beach towels, boogie boards, cooler and beach chairs for all your Hana adventures.

The property boasts a freshwater pond, koi pond, BBQ grills and picnic area. Laundry facilities are available for a fee.

Walking distance to Hana Town for shopping, tennis courts, basketball courts, snack shops and churches.

Response from the owner We are very happy Marty and Susan chose to stay 3 days with us at the Kailani Suite. We feel very lucky to share this special place with guests. As Marty stated the panoramic and breathtaking ocean view from the covered deck (lanai) is very special. It sounds like Marty and Susan spent a great amount of time there as most guests do. After driving the windy road to Hana , entering the Suite and walking out on the deck to see the ocean, many guests are inclined to leave the screen doors open to enjoy the breeze off of the ocean. If the winds are blowing a certain way the result can be obvious. We encourage guests to enjoy the deck and the ocean view but to close the screen door behind them as they would at home if they are sensitive to tiny flying bugs entering the Suite as it sounds like Marty and Susan were. We have excellent housekeepers who thoroughly clean the Suite prior to guests arrival and have the suite in immaculate condition upon arrival. Unfortunately what happens after that is beyond our control as there is no daily housekeeping provided. Marty had mentioned to us a rusty staple holding a tv cable wire along the baseboard and we will replace those staples. We hope Marty and Susan can stay with us again.
