Situated in the private gardens of Clos de la Tour the Garden Apartment has been awarded four stars and a Gold Award by the Quality in Tourism assessors for Visit Sark, Visit Guernsey and Visit England.
This beautifully appointed one bedroom apartment offers a peaceful retreat with the luxury of a home away from home. Having its own entrance and being situated on the ground floor it offers easy access to the south facing gardens, which are perfect for alfresco dining or just chilling out with a good book. The apartment is ideally suited for 2 adults but 2 further adults or children can be accommodated in the lounge which has 2 single sofa beds.
EATING, COOKING & RELAXING
The open plan kitchen has a dining and living area plus a HDMI enabled flat screen TV with Sky Freeview. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, electric oven, grill and hob, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, electric kettle and Nespresso coffee machine plus an extensive range of crockery, cutlery, general kitchen utensils, pots and pans.
A PEACEFUL NIGHT
The carpeted bedroom has a king sized bed with fluffy pillows, a cosy warm feather duvet for the winter months or a cool silk filled duvet for the warmer summer months, quality cotton bed linen, bedside tables with reading lamps, a mirror and an open plan clothes storage area. A hair dryer and clothes brushes are also provided for your use. We are happy to accept infants and children and are able to provide a cot with bedding and a high chair.
A REFRESHING SHOWER
The bathroom houses a large walk in shower, WC, wash hand basin, heated towel rail, shaver socket, mirrored cupboard and the airing cupboard. Fluffy eco friendly bamboo towels, dressing gowns and slippers are provided plus complimentary fragranced hand and body wash, shampoo and body lotion from the luxurious Prija range.
RELAXING IN THE LOUNGE
The cosy carpeted lounge is the perfect place for relaxing, it has two comfortable sprung chairs which each convert into a single bed, 2 pine tables that double as bedside tables plus a pine chest of drawers to provide further storage. Dominoes, cards and a wireless Bluetooth speaker system with CD player and FM radio are provided for your entertainment.
IN THE GARDEN
In the secluded south facing garden area directly outside of the apartment you will find ample garden furniture provided for your sole use and enjoyment. There is a dining table with sunshade and chairs plus reclining sun lounger chairs for you to while away the sunny days with a good book or simply to have a snooze.
The Garden Apartment has its own oil fired central heating system to provide you with unlimited central heating and hot water, which are totally under your control at the touch of a button. Free unlimited WIFI is available throughout the apartment.
If you are staying with us for 6 days or more a complimentary midweek change of bed linen and towels is included in the rental cost plus a complimentary linen change for those staying 7 nights or more. Beach towels are also provided.
We have a communal utility room which houses a coin operated washing machine and coin operated tumble dryer, both machines accept £1 coins. Situated in one of the garden areas is a whirligig washing line for your use, pegs are supplied and will be in your apartment.
To welcome you we provide a complimentary welcome pack containing those little necessities such as tea, a selection of coffee capsules, granulated coffee, sugar, a selection of cereals, milk, bread, butter, newly laid eggs from our own hens, jam, marmalade, honey, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, toilet rolls, refuse bags and cleaning materials. For stays of 7 nights or more the welcome pack also includes laundry pods, a bottle of wine and a box of Chocolates.
Nespresso capsules are not available to purchase on Sark so if you are a coffee lover, please bring additional capsules with you.
The minimum stay is usually 3 nights except for the Christmas and New year periods when the minimum stay is 4 nights. However, please feel free to request a shorter stay as we will always try to accommodate your requirements.
Occasionally we have special offer deals for 1 and 2 night breaks, when available details of these offers can be found on our website.
So that we can meet your needs we have no fixed changeover day.
Please be aware that for the comfort of others, smoking is not allowed in the Garden Apartment, an ashtray is available for those who wish to smoke in the garden area.
Unfortunately we do not accept dogs or other pets but we do welcome trained assistance dogs. Please contact us for further details.
