This detached cottage is located on a working sheep and cattle farm near Appleby-in-Westmorland, in Cumbria and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.Elm Cottage is a detached sandstone cottage on a working sheep and cattle farm in Flitholme, a small hamlet just over six miles from Appleby-in-Westmorland in Cumbria. The cottage sleeps four people and has a double bedroom, a twin room and a family shower room. It also contains an open plan living area with a kitchen and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. Outside is off road parking and a small enclosed garden with outdoor furniture. Located between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks, Elm Cottage is a lovely holiday home for discovering this beautiful region.

Electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge (no ice-box), counter-top freezer, washing machine, TV with Freeview, DVD, radio, WiFi, selection of books and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Ample off road parking. Small enclosed garden with furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 3 miles.
Region: Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.
Town: The small town of Brough is situated in the Eden Valley, close to Kirkby Stephen and Appleby-in-Westmorland. Brough is a twin town, the south part is Church Brough and the northern part is Market Brough.

“Rural rustic cottage”
Had a lovely 4 night break. Cottage had everything you needed. Wood burner made it very cosy on an evening. Bed was very comfortable. Ideal location to explore Dales & Lakes. Warm friendly hosts.
