Description

A soft color palette makes this a soothing cottage in which to spend the lazy hazy days of summer. All the cottages have overhead fans in all rooms to keep the warm air flowing out and the sea breezes flowing in. The convectair heaters keep this cottage cozy on a cool or rainy day. Not that it ever rains on PEI!!

Cottage #3 has a pillowtop queen mattress so if you have back problems this will give you a great sleep. Or so our guests tell us. But it doesn't have an air massage tub so you pay a little less. It does have a tub/shower combined.

A family of four can stay in Cottage #3 with the use of the hide-a-bed. There is room for a pack'n'play in the bedroom or the living room.

Getting around

It is possible to walk to North Rustico for supplies. Generally, you will want your own car so you can see all the wonderful nooks and crannies of PEI. There are many great tour and activity companies on the Island that we can recommend.

Interaction with guest

Our friendly helpful staff are usually on the property in the mornings and/or afternoons in the spring and fall and most of the day and evening in the summer. If staff are not on site, there is always someone available at the toll free number or by text. These numbers are provided when you check-in on the 'welcome' sheet. In the early spring and late fall, arrivals should be arranged, so we can meet you. Also, other details about the property that will make your stay comfortable are provided on the 'welcome' sheet. We enjoy interacting with our guests and meeting people from all over the world, but also respect your privacy and preferences.

House rules

Quiet time is by 11. Visitors of our guests are asked to leave by 10;00 am. We run a quiet property and ask that guests respect other guests needs. If you experience noisy neighbours, we can be reached at any time so we can deal with them.
Pets must be kept on a leash and either go with their owners or be crated in owners' absence. We expect pets be properly groomed before arrival.

Close to Cavendish and scenic shore line . Only 30mins from Charlottetown. WiFi could be improved.Central location makes for easy access to the rest of the island.

Response from the owner Hi Frank Thank you for the encouraging review. As the second guests of the season, you get to deal with the kinks as we get them worked out after a long winter! The internet service was supposed to be 'good to go' as we left the lines on and paid for dormant service all winter. Unfortunately, there was a problem with some of the wires that we had to get a tech out to fix. This wonderful salt air which is so nice to breathe is also hard on wires. I should remember to encourage all our guests to let me know if the Wifi is spotty because it indicates we need to call the provider. Guests should expect reliable Wifi on most parts of PEI, and especially the North Shore. Glad you enjoyed your stay! Vicki

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Felix (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
