Description
The Crags is between Plettenberg Bay and Nature's Valley, in the Garden Route, The Carraighs offers guests a truly relaxing stay in an indigenous forest, with spectacular birdlife. The secluded location offers privacy, but the cottage is conveniently located within driving distance to the nearest town and just a few minutes drive from all the famous and exciting activities and attractions of The Crags.
This lovely two-storey cottage has a main bedroom downstairs, with a double bed. The large dining and living area, has a TV with full DSTV. There is a couch/single bed in the lounge for a small child to sleep. The upstairs loft, with separate entrance has a double bed and two single beds, as well as a spacious living area. The loft has a wooden deck with a beautiful view. However, there is no bathroom upstairs so it is necessary that those sleeping upstairs use the bathroom in the downstairs part of the house. The house is always rented out as one unit. There is also a fully equipped and modern kitchen downstairs, a full bathroom, and private BBQ facilities at the cottage. Meals can be enjoyed in the spacious living area.
Note : We have recently upgraded our living area, the outdoors furniture and re-painted the cottage.

Hiking (guided or self) nearby. We are just a few minutes away from the Crags Wine Route, Monkeyland, Birds of Eden, Jukani and many more.

There is a bed in the living room for a child but the upstairs bedroom is only suitable for older children or fully mobile adults as it has an outside staircase and the bathroom is downstairs.

I am sorry but we are a bit nervous about the dogs because Luka is big and bouncy and your kids are small, so we keep him in his own camp and away from the guests unless we are sure that they are used to dogs. When I realised how much they wanted to play I did invite the kids in to play in our yard (which they did), but I can't let the dogs into the guest area unless I am there because they can get out into the forest. Apologies but not all guests want the dogs in their space so we are just very cautious ! I hope you enjoyed your stay anyway. Regards Toni and Mike

We have upgraded our furniture and have a tv with satellite dish now so you can lounge back and watch golf as long as you have a decoder with you.
