DETAILED DESCRIPTION:

This beautiful holiday apartment is situated in the true centre of the “Vieille Ville”, in a characteristic old building full of charm and history.

The apartment, measuring 53 sm + 15 sm of terrace, benefits from an incredible quantity of light, thanks to a south exposure and three very large Velux windows. The brightness is emphasized by the extensive use of white and natural neutral colors. The white furnishing blend with the neutral tones of wood floors convey serenity and invite guests to relax.

The apartment has been renovated to include all modern comforts whilst maintaining the charm and soul of a seaside apartment, where the sea breeze comes in from every window left open.

It has been conceived, with a panoramic terrace, for being a perfect and serene retreat allowing a couple to relax while being on the middle of the Old Town scene. With 300 sunshine days on the French Riviera you can enjoy this beautiful terrace all year round.

Situated on the 5nd floor without lift, the stairs is wide and easy to climb.

No expenses have been spared to add the best amenities: air conditioning in living room, dining area and in the bedroom.

The kitchen, with bleached wood cabinets to complement the bleached oak parquet is equipped with fridge/refrigerator, oven, microwave and dishwasher.

Guests can choose to take their meal in the dining area sitting on the comfortable bench under a window that frames the blue sky or sitting at the terrace table watching the impressive illuminated steeple of Santa Rita's church. And if the sun becomes too strong and you prefer some shade then you can avail of the large parasol to keep you cool.

The living room overlooking the sunny terrace is accessible from the dining area through a white wood staircase. The sofas in the lounge and on the terrace are designed to allow the guests to enjoy this spacious area where the division between inside and outside disappears.

WIth the benefit of the choose to relax on the comfortable seating in the sun of the French Riviera or in the cool shade inside, however remaining together.

The bedroom's double bed has a plush white headboard on which stands the cast of a real relief of Roman times. Right above the bed there is a Velux window (opening and darkened by a handy remote touch screen) through which is very romantic watching the stars before falling asleep. There is a built in wardrobe for your belongings..

Guest can enjoy a wi fi connection, a 40" lcd Samsung tv and a dvd reader.

“Excellent stay!”

Reviewed 24 Jun 2019

I couldn’t recommend this apartment more - it’s perfect! Set in the heart of the old town surrounded by beautiful restaurants and 5 minutes from the beach. The roof terrace is a dream! Very clean and well equipped apartment and even a bottle of Prosecco on arrival. I’ll definitely be back

“Perfect base for our stay in Nice”

Reviewed 4 Oct 2018

We had such a lovely stay in this apartment it's small but perfectly formed. The aircon ( 3 units- one in each room) was very welcomed as the weather was very warm. We really enjoyed our early morning sunny breakfasts on the large rooftop terrace, and even though there are so many restaurants to choose from in the old town we did stay in and cooked in the apartment, We enjoyed our supper and the romantic night time atmosphere on terrace listening to the gentle hum of the old town, with the lighted steeple in the background - very special. Thanks Roni for such a warm welcome and the bottle of Rose and French cheese on arrival - we will be back.

The location of this apartment is in the heart of old Nice: so if you like the actions, lots of people around, restaurants and the odors that goes with cooking, this is the right place. One should be… More

Response from the owner Unfortunately it seems like this guest did not enjoy their time in our holiday home or staying the old town of Nice which is disappointing to us. As they are holiday home renters themselves Im surprised by the home rules comment. The website has a ' home rules' section for each advertised apartment so the guest should have seen these before booking. On the welcome I did not go through the home rules but they are outlined again in the welcome folder ( they are standard rules nothing out of the ordinary). I did however very politely ask that the outdoor cushions be taken in at night time ( there is a cat next door who will sleep on the cushions if left out and we have to be careful with guest allergies ) and in the case of rain With regard to emptying the rubbish I just assumed that this is a normal practice especially in very high temperatures if you had food content lying around, as apart from attracting insects it can leave a stale smell in the apartment which is not fair on the next guest. I do understand that if you are used to the countryside that the old town may be a little vibrant with its bustling cobbled streets with boutique shops and many small cute restaurants and cafes to choose from. Personally I adore the old town and the yummy food smells as I pass by the restaurants at lunch or dinner time but I do understand if it is not for everyone . Also I understand that the apartment may not be to everyone's tastes but it is as in the photos and it is stated that there is no lift . I love hearing back from the guests and reading their reviews as it's lovely to know that they enjoyed our holiday home and Nice as much as we do . So I am disappointed for these guests that they didn't have such a enjoyable experience, my advice would be to read the full description , ask questions of the owner that are important to you in the enquiry stage and research the area - if its an old town area in a city then there will be a lot of restaurants and food smells.

“Fantastic!”

Reviewed 14 Sep 2018

The apartment was absolutely fantastic! It was full of character with charming decorations and a great sun terrace! It was in the middle of the old town, so places to visit/eat/drink were plentiful! Can't fault it at all! The only negative was the huge flight of stairs to get to apartment, so not suitable for anyone with problems with their legs. Thanks for a lovely time!

Response from the owner You are very welcome and thank you for taking such good care of our apartment. We are delighted that you had a lovely stay and enjoyed Nice. Yes I unfortunately in the old town most of the buildings do not have lifts so it is not suitable for the elderly or the non active / very unfit. I use it as part of my exercise routine so I can have a guilt free gelato on Place Rossetti . Than you for taking should good care of the apartment and you are welcome back anytime.
