Our spacious 1,560 square feet (145 square meter) 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa enjoys an elevated position above the west coast of Barbados on the Vuemont lifestyle estate. Guests of 'Island Breeze' enjoy breath-taking views of the Caribbean Sea, lush gardens and rolling landscapes of the surrounding St Peter district. Our private, enclosed, 300 square feet (28m square meter) private patio is brushed by cooling breezes and is accessed from the living area and master bedroom.

At the nearby Club-House the infinity pool (good for laps) has stunning west coast views and is great for sundowners, plus a jacuzzi and changing rooms, and WiFi connection. There are two additional pools on the estate.

'Island Breeze' is furnished to the highest quality with our personal touches and artwork, providing a Caribbean island feel throughout. The open-plan, fully equipped, spacious kitchen links through to the dining and living areas, patio and garden. WiFi and local phone calls are included in rental fees, and there is TV and a radio with a CD-player. There are ceiling fans in all bedrooms and several movable stand-up fans, plus air conditioning in bedrooms (rarely required at this breezy, elevated location).

We provide a welcome pack of groceries and maintain a stock of all day to day necessities including toilet paper, washing and cleaning materials, and spices. There is a washer/drier in the utility room, a cooler box for trips out and acrylic glasses for use near the pool and on picnics or beach trips. We provide bed linen, house and beach towels.

The estate has some pleasant walks/runs; a gym, and two tennis courts. The Estate is gated and has 24-hour security guards. A well stocked supermarket and hardware store is located less than 1 kilometer away.

Getting around

While public transport, mainly buses and mini-buses is available, it is best to hire a vehicle for your stay. Included in your rental fee is a four day a week shuttle bus service to and from two west coast locations, Speightstown and Holetown. The bus leaves from the Club-House, nearby 'Island Breeze', and spaces must be reserved in advance. Bicycles can also be rented locally.

Interaction with guest

We stay directly in touch with you from the time you book until your holiday ends. We have a Property Manager in Barbados who will meet you on arrival and is available throughout your stay to provide advice and help. Once your booking is confirmed we send short documents with information about 'Island Breeze' and the Vuemont Lifestyle Estate, and a 'things to do' advisory we have compiled for visitors to Barbados. If you need any advice or assistance, just ask us.

How do damage deposits work?
