Description

Come and enjoy a relaxing stay in 'Lyncroft' our beautiful Grade II listed 15th Century cottage. Two bedrooms; one twin room and a large master bedroom with an antique four poster double bed. With plenty of exposed beams and inglenook fireplace this cottage exudes character and history with all the modern comforts. Sunny south facing small garden in the front. No smoking; Not suitable for children under 5 years; No pets. P.S. Mind your head at the top of the stairs!

The cottage is accessible anytime after 2pm on day of check in via accessing a key from the key safe, enabling you to arrive at your convenience. Our cottage manager Marian, who lives locally, will usually pop around some time after you arrive to ensure you have settled in ok. Bed linen and towels are provided. Tea/Coffee/Milk/Biscuits are available on arrival. Please Note: Due to the age of the property the stairs are somewhat steep so anyone with mobility issues may have difficulties.

“Short stay”

Really enjoyed our stay. Good location. Cosy cottage with well equipped kitchen. Everything lovely and clean. No problems at all. Will come again if in the area.

“Cute, quaint and comfy”

“Imperfectly perfect”

Lovely old worldy cottage in a peaceful location. The cottage is very old but has all the modern conveniences without detracting from its charm. We felt at home and could relax and unwind away from our normal busy lives. The four poster bed was a lovely addition and quite comfortable. The cottage is positioned nicely in a quiet setting within walking distance of 2 local stores and a pub serving good food. We would recommend this property to anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle.

“A very pleasant stay”

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Julie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
