Description

Welcoming, ecletic, stylish, artistic, spacious apartment of 60m2 on ground floor with private entrance and garden of 45 m2 in typical Amsterdam building (1930). Neighborhood 'Old West' is lively, trendy and among locals. Everything is within easy reach (museum district, Vondelpark, canal area) and trams stops are around the corner.

Location: next to the museum district with Rijksmuseum, van Gogh museum and Stedelijk museum, the famous Vondelpark (wonderful in the summer), canal area and shopping street P.C. Hooftstraat. It will take you about ten minutes by foot to get to the center of Amsterdam, only two minutes by bicycle and, tram stops are only a two-minute walk from the apartment. You will make it to the highway in just a couple of minutes.

Our location is quiet, peaceful yet lively. The neighborhood Helmersbuurt is a real melting pot of different cultures and nationalities and is known for its coziness and ‘village-feel’ and is one of the most trendy neighborhoods of Amsterdam. It has great restaurants, bars and, little shops.

The apartment is suitable for a maximum of four but preferably two people and, has a very comfortable sofa bed. There's no separate bedroom. The bathroom has a bath. Bed linen and towels are provided. The kitchen has a microwave/oven, fridge, freezer and all utensils needed. The dining area which is next to the kitchen has seating for six. The apartment has wifi and cable. The spacious apartment is perfect for a couple. With great weather you can have a BBQ in the garden. But big parties are not appreciated.

The apartment is nearby the sea and beaches like Zandvoort (easily reached by train in 20 min) and Bloemendaal is only 30 minutes by car. Not only the beaches are great but there are also great nature areas to go cycling. (Bicycles can easily be rented.)

House rules

For guests only. No invitees. No parties. No (soft) drugs in the apartment, in the garden and in front of the house. Keep noise to a minimum. You cannot put on (loud) music, talk and laugh loud in the garden and outside by the bench. Sitting in the garden is only allowed until 10pm. ONLY TOILET PAPER in the toilet! You may NOT USE wet tissues, sanitary napkins and tampons in the toilet. The toilet will get clogged and you will be charged 250 Euros to unclog. Please leave it in a clean state.
