Description from owner

Description

Casa Santuario, is a unique, luxurious Mexican villa, nestled along the cliffs above the azure Sea of Cortez. Come and experience the beauty and tranquility. Sunrises greet you with magnificent hues, silhouetting intriguing panoramas of sea, desert and mountains. Evenings becon you with shimmering "moon paths" across the bay! You can experience a once in a lifetime interaction with the magnificent creatures of the sea!

A winding staircase will take you to your bedroom where the sea is your "picture window" through large sliding glass doors. You can watch spectacular sunrises from each bed. The sound of waves lapping on the sea wall will becon you out onto the tiled balcony that each bedroom shares. Everywhere you look, there are breathtaking views!

Eclectic decor whispers of Mediterranean, French, Japanese, Spanish and, of course, the sweetness of Mexico. Enjoy the deep, rich carved woods, arched columns, beamed ceilings, spiral staircases, and inner courtyards with Bougainvillea, Hibiscus and many other flowering plants.

Casa Santuario was originally built in 1966 by Hank and Cosette Wild. Cosette had many friends from her previous life in Hollywood and the property was laid out with entertaining in mind. Cosette was a lavish hostess of gala parties that attracted various Hollywood stars and producers as well as dignitaries including the President of Mexico! It is in this tradition of lavish hospitality that we offer you an experience that you will not soon forget!
