Description
In a old basque Farm in the countryside but at 15 min walk from the sea, we offer to our clients a very resty holiday in an appartment with a spectacular view on the mountains .
From our house you can easily reach Spain ( San Sebastian) within 25 minutes drive, 15 minutes drive to Biarritz, 5 Minutes to Saint Jean de Luz and walking nearby you will find shops and restaurants just 250m from the house.
For those who love walking : we are situated at 5 minutes walk to "the Sentier du littoral" which offers a stunning and wild landscape.
If you want to relax, stay around the swimming pool, if you want to travel around you will discover all the lovely basque villages around. You can either climb our local mountain name La Rhune or try all the water sports that we have around like surfing, swimming , stand up paddle, or play golf as you will find 2 golf courses located at 5 kms from the house, horse riding is also very easy from our place.You can also use your bike as you will find a great "promenade" near the sea which leads you from Socoa to Saint Jean de Luz.
If you love shopping you can have a walk in Saint Jean de Luz, rue Gambetta where you will find lovely shops with exclusive basque linen or go to San Sebastian in Spain where you can shop and after that visit all the tapas bar which have given San Sebastian its reputation of high quality food. .

“Excellent Hose and accomidation.”
Hard to find location at first but once you have arrived it is very easy after that. The location could do with some signage directions from the motorway and beach road. Sat Nav may not always work.

Response from the owner Thanks Gavin for your review which give us the opportunity to clarify certain details of our flats and facilities : on the swimming pool: swimming pool is opened from 1st of june to end of september : all the garden furniture (chaise longue etc..) can be used around the swimming pool at this time. we have two flats in the house one which is at the first floor (upstairs) (the one you used) as mentioned in the description and has a garden in front which is used by our guests . We provide all the garden furniture to seat outside from june till end of september (it is outside permanently) and before june if our guests ask for it. The other flat is on the ground floor and has an access directly to a second garden , same for the furniture. heating: the heating is central and we always ask our guest if they require heating or not to switch it on or off . We have been qualified 3 stars by the standard of "meublé de tourisme" and 3 épis by "Gîtes de France" and flats have been checked in october 2015 .This ranking is a guarantee of the level of equipment and facilities that you will find in our flats.
