Set right on the banks of the Margaret River, Aroha (meaning love) is an extremely indulgent retreat. A private rammed earth property, in a beautiful bush location is perfect for a couple wanting to escape and experience the many pleasures the region offers, such as walking or cycling along the bush trails, swimming in the river or visiting the award winning wineries, breweries, beaches and galleries nearby. It is steps from the Margaret River, opposite a small dam and bridge, which is a popular spot for swimming in the summer and only a 20 minute walk into town following the bush trail, or a 2 minute drive, to enjoy the many cafe's and restaurants. Enjoy features such as the Pot belly fireplace for cold winter nights (May until September) and a spacious undercover balcony, the perfect spot for a glass of wine, a BBQ, reading a book or enjoying watching the native bird life.Other features include Daikin reverse cycle airconditioning, a comfortable Kingsize bed with luxury linen, 60" plasma TV with Foxtel and Bluray. The property is equipped with a kitchenette, including a 270 L fridge, microwave, sink, toaster, kettle, electric frypan, a sandwich press and a Nespresso coffee machine with complimentary coffee pods, a selection of teas and bottled water.

Response from the manager Im sorry you felt misled by the description. - the government maintains a riparian zone between all houses and the river for ecological reasons but I can assure you Aroha is located as close as you can get to the river (40m) and the river is clearly visible. There are no other properties between it and the river and aside from the lush garden directly off the balcony, there is an unofficial small parking area for members of the public to access the weir bridge. There were a number of inaccuracies in your review which require correction. You mentioned a blueray device but the description doesnt mention a blueray device. The TV has been replaced with a new one and the storage hot water system been replaced with a new instantaneous gas system providing endless hot showers if you want it. There is a water saving head on the shower.. The A/C is oversized for the studio and has recently been regassed so should perform well in all conditions. The wood combustion heater heats up the room very quickly. The cooking facilkities are exactly as stated in the amenities description and includes a electric stove plate,electric wok as well as microwave, toaster and all cutlery, plates and cooking utensils needed.
