Our Housekeeper will greet you for check-in and will be there for your check-out as well. She will also be on hand for any queries you have during your stay and can provide more regular housekeeping if required. The owners are always available via phone; text or WhatsApp throughout your stay should you need us.

Will take on your feedback on a/c in the living area as we do currently have a ceiling fan and a stand-alone fan but perhaps at this time of year is insufficient. We are currently looking to get a/c in the living area before the end of the year and hope this did not impact your enjoyment.

I saw many similar properties at Cool Shades/ Richmond advertised on online. I selected Sunshine Reggae Villa largely based on the reviews. On my arrival I was happy to find that even after reading the reviews, the property exceeded my expectations...Stunning! The photos do not do the place justice. The property was exceptionally clean, tastefully decorated, comfortably and un-imposingly furnished and overall extremely well equipped for my stay. I was particularly happy to see a washing machine, a dish washer! and even a rice cooker. Having previously stayed in nearby properties such as Drax Hall, Turtle Towers, Sand castles and Emerald Heights, I initially considered Sunshine Reggae Villas rates to be a bit pricey. However in all fairness considering the high quality of the decor, furnishing and equipment that the owner has selected I would conclude that it is good value for money. Everyone on the complex, takes pride in the appearance of their house fronts, so this coupled with the well maintained streets provided a lush an attractive backdrop to my stay. The communal facilities such as the gym and infinity pool were well maintained and contributed to a feeling of being on a resort. With the 24 hour security patrol, I felt completely safe and secure to walk around the complex at all times and took the opportunity to enjoy blissful early morning and night swims. In addition, the village shop on the complex that hosts a well stocked supermarket, pharmacy and Deli with prices comparable to the supermarkets in Ocho Rios provides a pleasant shopping experience. The Private Beach club, equipped with sun loungers provided a relaxing and uninterrupted place to sun bathe and look out to sea. However the sand itself has lots of sea weed so its better advised to use the nearby Priory beach (Fantasy Beach) for actual swimming. Downsides: Due to a problem with the service provider there was NO Internet connection throughout my entire stay and the first night was also without TV or music. As I was there was staying with 3 teenagers this did spoil it a bit for them. People on the complex are very friendly but overall very quiet, so I would not recommend this place for that livelier holidaymaker who likes to pump up the music. A car is Essential particularly in the summer months when the sun is blazing, as its quite a trek to the main road . There is a nice cozy garden space and even a BBQ, but no where to sit/relax out back. Some garden table and chairs/ sun loungers please. Bedside lamps needed in all bedrooms (wanted to read) Although there is air conditioning in all bedrooms, the property would hugely benefit from air conditioning in the living room as at times the summer heat was unbearable. CONCLUSION: The positives outweigh the negatives BY FAR! Overall I had a FANTASTIC experience. I would definitely recommend it I Look forward to staying at Sunshine Reggae Villa again SOON!

We are planning to put air conditioning in the lounge area later this year and in September there will be bedside lamps in all rooms. There is lounge furniture in the front porch where you get the sea view, however based on your feedback will consider garden furniture in the rear of the property. Unfortunately the wifi and cable tv were down due to a fault with the service provider and I hope this didn't create too much of a problem for you and your family. Hopefully if you return to Jamaica you will return to Sunshinereggae Villa.
