Conveniently situated right across Evangelismos metro station and the Athens Hilton hotel, just a stone's throw away from Kolonaki! With a direct metro line to the airport as well as Syntagma square, Plaka (Monastiraki) and Gazi, it is perfectly connected to all places of interest in Athens! Just 2 stops from the Acropolis!

Perfect location, walking distance (less than 10 mins) to the city's main attractions, bars, restaurants, and areas of interest.

Recently renovated in July 2015!

The Apartment

Spacious flat located in Pangrati, the city's latest up-and-coming neighborhood where new night spots and restaurants are flocking.

Located in a beautiful apartment building with a small porch and garden right on the doorstep, it's just the perfect way to start your trip.

The flat is 140m2 and is found on an elevated first floor with views of the building’s garden as well as the park of the National Hellenic Research Foundation right across the street. No other buildings are in sight. The apartment consists of a welcome hall, a living room, a dining room, a fully-equipped kitchen, a bathroom, a separate WC, and two full bedrooms (one with a brand new queen size bed and the other with two tween beds fitted with new mattresses). A service room is also available, where the washing machine is placed. The apartment has parquet floors in all communal areas as well as the two bedrooms, and is fully furnished.

It's equipped with WiFi, dishwasher, washing machine, central heating, air conditioning, TVs and all the amenities expected of a home.

Travel to/from the Airport:

• Express Bus X95 (stops right outside Athens Hilton): 40 min trip, every 15-20' (price: €5/pers.)

• taxi driver: 30 min trip (approx. price: 30-40€) - a taxi can be arranged if requested beforehand

Someone is always available to solve any question or request you might have as a guest, and give you any tips and suggestions for your stay.

The Neighborhood

There is no shortage of available dining and nightlife spots in the area, which are usually more laid-back and still largely "undiscovered" by tourists (please have a look at the detailed "guidebook" - a printed copy is left in the apartment for your convenience - for specific suggestions in the neighborhood, most within walking distance from the apartment!). The small "Rizari Park" 50m away is one of the few in town and perfect for a stop to catch a breath and relax among the trees.

The apartment is strategically located only 5 min on foot from the "posh" Kolonaki district and its cafes, nightlife and luxury boutiques and 2 min from the nearest Metro station (Evangelismos) with a direct connection to Athens airport as well as most places of interest such as Syntagma square – 1 stop away (also change trains for just 1 stop to the Acropolis!), Plaka/Monastiraki – 2 stops away - and Gazi – just three stops away!

Attractions such as Kalimarmaro stadium, the National Gallery (currently closed for renovation), the National Museum of Contemporary Art (EMST), the Benaki Museum, the Museum of Cycladic Art, the Byzantine Museum, the Athens Concert Hall (Megaron Mousikis), the National Gardens and the Greek Parliament are also just a short walk away.

Hilton hotel, which is only 5 min on foot, also offers the largest swimming pool in town which is open for the public (admission fee is required) as well as a cocktail bar with one of the best views of the city!

Finally, if you're looking for a gym to work out during your stay, Holmes Place (probably the best-equipped gym in town) is just 10' or one Metro stop away, near Syntagma square.

Getting Around

The flat is perfectly connected via both the Athens Metro as well as bus connections, so every possible destination is just a short ride away! Still, taxi services are also available for a more comfortable transit.

Other Things to Note

Hosts up to 6 persons. Ideal for couples or a small family. Apart from the double bed and the twin beds, two folding beds are also available if needed.

Please keep in mind that unconfirmed guests are NOT allowed to sleep over.

House Rules

The apartment is your home away from home so please treat it as such. Please keep the apartment as clean as possible; guests are responsible for upkeeping and leaving the flat exactly as they found it on arrival.

Please respect your neighbors and be aware that there are quite hours set by law in Greece (15:00 - 17:30 and 23:00 - 07:00 from April till September and 15:30 - 17:30 and 20:00 - 07:30 from October till March) so please refrain from unnecessary noisy activities during these hours. If there is any trouble with the neighbors please don't hesitate to contact me.

• Parties on premises are strictly NOT allowed.

Centrally located, quiet area, close to amenities and very nicely furnished. Equipped with all a couple or family require to pass a very relaxing and peaceful holiday in such a marvellous city. Highly recommended. Impeccably clean and warm (we were there in December 2016 when it actually snowed).

In regards to your comments: - Some street noise is to be expected, especially if you keep the windows opened, but it is certainly not extreme and can be completely closed off if you keep the (double glazed) windows closed - I never mentioned that the Athens Hilton is next door so your comment is not understood to me. Hilton is the name of the whole area, as the apartment is located close to the well-known hotel. - You may feel that the bathrooms are dated and not luxurious enough for your taste, but - regardless on whether or not this is the case - the bathrooms are clearly shown in the many pictures provided on the listing so again, I do not understand the comment. I personally find them to be rather charming and certainly well-equipped and spacious. - Finally, a price of 80 euros for a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 140 square meters apartment is rather fair and I hardly think you could get the same value for the price at a nearby hotel (which there are very few anyway!) All in all, in was great to have you as my guests, and I certainly enjoyed our conversations but I feel that this review is rather unexpected, unfair, and unjustified.
