This semi-detached cottage is located on the shoreline in the small Cumbrian village of Anthorn and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.Sonya's Cottage is a superb semi-detached cottage in the small Cumbrian village of Anthorn on the Solway Firth. The ground floor cottage sleeps four people and has a double bedroom with an en-suite, a twin room and a family shower room. There is also an open plan living area with a kitchen and a sitting area with French doors offering coastal views. Outside is off road parking and a front patio with furniture as well as shared use of the owner's hot tub. Ideal as a touring base for discovering northern Cumbria, Sonya's Cottage is a lovely holiday home at any time of the year.
Amenities: Oil central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, TV with Freeview, CD, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in the rent. Ample off road parking. Front patio with furniture and rear patio with hot tub. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 5 miles. Estuary shore opposite. Note: Hot tub can be shared with owners but only when is not in use. Note: There is a drop from the patio to the lawn, care to be taken. Note: Property may be suitable for accompanied wheelchair users, please contact owner for more details. Note: The property does not accept bookings to commense on either Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays
Region: Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.
Town: Anthorn is a remote village on the north bank of the Solway Firth. Nearby Wigton is a traditional Cumbrian market town which holds a market each Friday.
