Description
A boutique style luxury self-catering property on the edge of the Western Lake District. It sleeps up to four. Short breaks, full weeks or longer stays available (3 night minimum) Changeover days are generally Friday or Monday, but we can often be flexible so please do ask. The Granary Escape is the place for style, indulgence, comfort with the English Lake District on the doorstep. Log fire, original oak beams, double ended bath and comfy beds. Perfect for a romantic retreat for two, or a luxury get away with friends, or a family holiday. Whether you want an active or relaxing holiday, the options here are endless. Views from the cottage across open farmland to the fells. Peaceful village setting with good pub. Cockermouth market town 4 miles away, with supermarkets, independent shops, cafes and restaurants. Any questions please contact the owner. Cottage will be ready from 4pm on day of arrival and we ask that you vacate by 10am on day of departure.

“Very comfortable and lovely cottage”
Our stay at ‚The Granary‘ was very pleasant. The cottage offered every comfort we could wish for including an excellent bathroom with underfloor heating and a big shower and bath. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was immaculately clean. Communication with Amanda was easy going and pleasant. We felt that we could ask for advice but didn’t have to as everything was well explained in the folder. We enjoyed Cockermouth and Keswick and many more locations in the Lake District, especially in the north west corner. The weather was better than forecasted and we left quite rested after 4 days. We were grateful to find such a nice place to stay just after the travel restrictions were lifted. I would be happy to come back.
