Aore Point Private Retreat is your coconut island oasis, perfectly located across the harbour from Luganville Airport, Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu.

Charming, eclectic, and comfortable, it is the perfect place for families with children or a couple of families.

Its direct oceanfront location provides for sweeping views of the water from the large, thatch-covered deck, without a neighbour in sight. Choose to chill out, scuba dive, snorkel, or go for an adventure! Easy access to tours for Blue Holes, Champagne Beach, Horse Riding, Millenium Caves, and many more natural wonders.

Getting around

On site are Caretakers that are a part of the local community and can be your point of contact to get to know your surroundings. Water and land taxi's are run by the locals and are a great way of getting a private tour. You can access Blue Holes, Champagne Beach, Port Olry, Horse Riding and many more natural wonders.

Interaction with guest

You will receive an itemised contact list to make your stay awesome! From scuba diving, horse riding, local tour guides, listings of the best cafe and fresh food markets. You'll know everything as good as a local. Other things to note There are numerous facilities provided to make your stay relaxing (and a few mod cons that aren't.....like no tv). *On the deck: 4 outdoor sun lounges, 2 large cushioned day beds, 8 seater timber outdoor dining setting, barbecue with a hood. *Inside: 6 seater dining setting, fully equipped kitchen with fridge and freezer, gas cooking, electric oven, pots and pans, cutlery and dishes, ipod/MP3 docking station with radio, 2 lounges, a couple of comfy chaises in the bedrooms to relax on and read a book.

House rules

This is a family home that relies on natural resources such as solar power and tank water. Guests should be mindful of this when using water and power, to be efficient in their usage. There is a back-up generator that can run out of fuel if power is misused.
The Caretaker on site has a family, we do not allow groups with the intent of large parties to stay at the house in respect to the family and the locals.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Julie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
