Near Batemans, the home of Rudyard Kipling. Also Pashley Manor Gardens nearby and Great Dixter within reach. Also great walking in the local area with fine views. Good local pubs to eat in.

A compact property that is fine for two people. Owner is very thoughtful and provided a generously stocked fridge to get us over the first day. Will definitely be returning soon.

“Perfect home from hone”

Booked to stay here so we could visit a friend in the village. It was really cosy and everything one could wish for was provided. Wonderful local shop and great breakfast at The Glove Factory. And super supper at the Ham Tree round the corner. Perfect base for visiting lots of brilliant places within easy driving distance, and the Court Gardens in the village were a highlight. Thank you Heather (and Murphy).
