Description

A comfortable and well furnished apartment, very nice start point for exploring the town, easily reachable from Piazzale Roma. With a beautyfull and spacious double room it offer you also a sofa-bed in the living room, usefull if the two persons don't like to share the same bed. In the kitchen you have also the dinner table.The bathroom with shower is equipped with a washing machine. A small, shadowed court complete the apartment.

With his access gate on Fondamenta del Gaffaro, the apartment is usefully located near Piazzale Roma, 3 minutes far by feet (250 m), so to reach it at the arrival you don't need boats, but is also 5 minutes walking far from the animated and fascinating Campo Santa Margherita. At the same distance is Campo San Rocco, with the famous Scuola, and the Basilica dei Frari. The Accademia Bridge and his museum is 20 minutes far, and you can reach the Rialto Bridge in less than half an hour.

The most important public boat's lines leaving from Piazzale Roma can reach the entire town and the lagoon.

Response from the owner Hello Brian, thank you for your review, i'm sorry about the smell, is not usual at all, maybe there was a problem with the previos guest. About the heating system, the italian law is very strict, the central heating system MUST be switched off on april 15th, and the building administrator CAN'T do differntly. In this days the weather was colder than usual, but i have not the possibility to switch the heating on without a special licence from the venice's administration. I'm sorry! Please look also on other reviews for my property on the web.
