Description

Welcome to "The Rest": a 2nd floor corner unit with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms that comfortably sleeps 6 people and is available year-round for rentals of up to 90 nights.

We do not permit smoking of any kind either inside the condo or on the front and back decks, so please respect this if you want to stay.

There is a security camera above the front door for our joint protection.

There are approximately 12 stairs up to the front door and there is no elevator.

Every room has its own heating and all rooms have window shades & energy efficient curtains to keep them warm during winter and cool during summer. There is no air conditioning but there are ceiling fans in all living areas and portable fans (2 high velocity, 1 standard) available.

The master bedroom has a NEW (Dec '21) king bed with medium-firm memory foam mattress and cotton linens. The guest bedroom has a queen bed with hybrid mattress, and twin bunk beds suitable for sleepers up to 200lbs each. The living room has a full pullout sofa bed. A queen air mattress is also available to use.

Bed linens, blankets and comforters, as well as towels (including beach towels for use at the Saco river and pool) are all provided for use during the stay.

The two large sofas in the living area comfortably seat 6 people in total. The dining area has a table and 6 chairs; there are folding chairs for use on the balcony deck (kept in the large storage box outside) but these can also be brought inside for extra seating. There is a folding table that can be used inside or out. We do not own a barbecue (outdoor) grill and grills must not be used on the balcony / deck.

Entertainment is via internet access (up to 400 Mbps) with free WiFi throughout the condo, Roku 4K HDR TV in the living area, Smart TV in the master bedroom with Roku and TV/DVD combo in the guestroom, also with Roku.

There are several board games and playing cards.

The (unsupervised) pool and sports courts are open from June to September (weather permitting).

The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances (including crock pot, filter coffee machine and K-cup coffee maker), flatware, dinnerware, glassware, bakeware, pots & pans.

Paper towels, cleaning sponges, cleaning spray and hand soap are all supplied.

Toiletries, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, dishwasher detergent, food and beverages are not supplied but may be left by previous guests.

The whole unit, all linens and towels are professionally cleaned before and after every stay in order to confidently promote the safety and comfort of our guests, and to ensure the excellent standards experienced by previous guests are maintained.

All guests must be declared on the reservation and we will request to know their names and ages. If you are not comfortable sharing this information with us, please understand that we won't be comfortable sharing our home with you!

Getting around

A car is essential! During the winter (snowy) months, please move vehicles as the storm ends to allow the crews to clear excess snow left by parked vehicles. Snow can accumulate quickly and unmoved vehicles can cause difficulty for snow removal and limit parking.
