If you are looking for a stylish apartment, with fine details and furniture of the best Italian design and a real immersion in the old Venice, there is Casa Veronica in Cannaregio. An apartment for 6 people in a building of the '500 with private condominium courtyard , common water bank and with particular almost impossible to find, such as a private terrace on the canal Rio Madonna dell'Orto .The apartment is 90 square meters and consists of 2 bedrooms, one double and one bedroom with bunk beds, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen with a sitting area with sofa bed, a living room opening onto the terrace and the canal. Inside is after the entry into the kitchen 2 rusticated columns of the '500 one of which has a small landscape engraved with signature of the author and a small spiral column Lombard set in the wall, above the door a gilded frieze of the '500 depicting a bird eating a fruit, typical symbol of fertility. In the living room there are other two rusticated columns of the '500, and two friezes of the Venetian '700 while there is a panel of the '500 and a Tuscan stoup of 1400 set in the wall. The apartment has wi-fi and a television. The Kitchen is equipped with induction stove, conventional oven and microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, ESPRESSO coffee machine and american coffee machine,toaster, pans for cooking with induction, dishes, flatware, placemats for breakfast and tableclothes. Of course guests will find sheets and towels, shampoo, soap, shower caps , hair dryer, iron and a bottle of prosecco with venetian biscuits as welcome .There is air conditioning.

Getting around

The best way to discover Venice is walking. From the apartment to Rialto bridge it's 1.4km and for San Marco square 1.8. You could go there with a water taxi too or with a vaporetto but walking, if you can, you will be more satisfied. If you wish to visit Murano island, from the near vaporetto stop it's easy to go there and you will find all the instructions in the book of the house.
