Description

1900 sq ft inside and Over 900 sq ft of decks on 3 levels with prettiest views on lake and a hot tub. my home has a private boat dock that guests may use during their stay,so bring your own boat or rent a boat from wax marina during the summer months,or just fish and swim off the dock. the inside has a pool table,3 large flat screen tvs,playstation,fireplace and a wood stove in master bedroom.full size washer and dryer. towels and linens provided.kitchen has everything you need but food. guests have use of a canoe,and a 2 person kayak. I supply fishing poles and tackle.

smoking is allowed on decks,but not inside home. pets are allowed for $100 fee or $50 for weekend stays. thank you for your interest.

Winter rates are inexpensive,springtime is 240 per night or 1400 a week. summer rates are 300 per night or 1800 per week. Summer holidays are 3 nights for 1150,flat fee. Thanksgiving is 4 nights, your choice for $1050.

I am doing away with the $300 damage deposit and have changed my agreement with tripadviser and flipkey. now there is a flat $60 damage insurance fee.

Response from the owner im very sorry your stay was so terrible, but i didnt hear all the complaints until you were told that you had to check out at the appropriate time because i had to clean for guests that were coming that afternoon. i know you were dissappointed that the boat and jetskis were not going to be available,which are never a guaranteed part of the home rental. you knew that before and after you booked. I offered you a full refund days before your arrival if you wanted to cancel for that or any reason.. you did not. I dontknow what private dock means in Nashville, but up here it means that I own the slip. I wasn't misleading you in any way. its the corps of engineers that decide how many slips are together. my slip is actually not part of the rental, but I always allow my guests to dock a boat there and swim there,which you did. my neighbors have always been nice to guests and all are allowed to walk the treeline at the back of their yard to the steps to the dock. i have to assume you didnt do that. as for maintenance: the oven worked fine when I was there sunday,and it worked for the next guests,but the led lights were wonky acting so we bought a new stove. the lakehouse doesn't have a roach problem. never has and never will. it is treated outside regularly. you may have seen a woodbug or one of those kind that fly in occasionally,but not a common house roach unless they came with you.. ants do invade sometimes, but are soon eradicated. the spindles are repaired on the deck, they would have been fixed immediately if I had known. lastly, check in is at 3 central time and checkout is at 10. I tried to be nice and allow you guys to come early as a courtesy. im sorry about the maintenance I had to do. you were still able to get in the home at 1 pm,2 hours early. i would not have cared to allow you to have a late check out,but since I had guests coming in sunday afternoon and my family schedule only allowed us to come clean early,i couldn't do that. i did offer you the use of the home after we cleaned and you said no because of your thinking on covid. since you were offered a full refund before your stay,even after you booked and you decided to come and then stayed the full time,but gave me this prepared list of complaints only when i told you you couldnt stay late, i did give you a $150 refund. my home is older and not near perfect, but we try to make it comfortable and always hope our guests have a good stay. you guys weren't cheated and some of your complaints are kind of petty. im sorry again that you didn't enjoy your weekend.
