Description

At about 1 mile from the spectacular beach of Xcalacoco you will find the neighborhood of Balam tun. More and more happy tourists are walking its colorful streets, but it is especially the people that live there that will make you feel right at home.

Our house offers three bedrooms, each of which containing a comfortable king sized bed. The "yellow" bedroom downstairs has a private bathroom attached, so if you are with just two people you would not even have to use the stairs. There is a also a toilet and sink combination on the first floor, often referred to as a 1/2 bathroom.

Upstairs we have the second full bathroom, meant for both the pink and blue bedrooms. All three bedrooms are equipped with AC and ceiling fan.

The house is situated right next to a lovely park/playground, making it particularly suitable for families with children. But anyone who can appreciate nature will of course enjoy the green surroundings. They are even pure enough for spider monkeys to come visit now and then!

The park is where the street ends, so there is absolutely no traffic passing.

By the way, I don´t think you will need to bring earplugs. :) At least, there´s only a very small chance the pump starts getting noisy again precisely during your stay. And if it does, simply tell us and we´ll take care of it immediately. The thing is, no hydraulic pump is safe from the humidity in Playa del Carmen. Every 8 months or so we have to take it apart and repair it so it will run silently again. Apologies for the inconvenience it has caused you. I will add this to our information pdf-file so our guests will know that they need to inform us if it should happen during their stay. I´ve never heard structural dog noises myself, or anyone talking about it, but I will investigate if one of our neighbours has bought a dog recently. I am hoping though that the dog was also there just for vacation purposes...:)
