****New 2021**** HEATED pool (for an additional charge)

Located at the end of a peaceful cul de sac with a large private yard in Shipyard Plantation with golf views. Relax in the pool or on the deck while you watch the golfers go by. Our home has a 15 x 30 pool, several outdoor entertaining areas, as well as, a screen porch with a table for eating and a futon or chaise lounge for afternoon naps.

Our home has a private back yard with a large side yard (the largest in Shipyard) for letting the kids play! Feel free to set up your volley ball or badminton net and let the games begin.

Our home features a master suite with direct access to the screened porch and its own en suite. Relax in the jetted tub or the separate shower. The master bath also has a private water closet, double sink vanity, and walk-in closet.

Additional bedrooms are tastefully appointed with one featuring a queen and one a king size bed. All bedrooms have TV's.

A chef's kitchen with 42" smooth top range and double ovens, separate 30" Refrigerator & 30" Freezer for plenty of storage. One double bowl sink with garbage disposal and a separate entertainment sink. A quiet Bosch dishwasher is also included. There are place settings for 8, as well as, extra silverware for outdoor use.

Main living area has 47" Smart TV & Blu-ray player. Master has 32" TV & Blu-ray player. Remaining bedrooms have 24" TV's.

The beach is a short 3 min car ride or 15 min bike ride. Shipyard has it's own private access to the beach with bathroom facilities.

Weber Charcoal Grill is provided for your use.

Bath towels & linens are provided, however you will need to bring your own beach towels. There is a washer and dryer provided for your use.

One dog under 40 lbs per visit is allowed with a non-refundable pet deposit. For details please inquire for quote.

Here are some other notable things about our home and Shipyard, the area it is located:

-This property does not have a landline telephone.

-RV's are not permitted to enter Shipyard.

-Motorcycles are not allowed to enter Shipyard.

-Trailers are not allowed into Shipyard. However, if your trailer is small you can park it in the garage.

Getting around

The best way to experience the island is via bicycles. Rated as a Gold Level Bicycle Friendly Community by the American League of Bicyclists with more than 60 miles of multi-use trails connecting you to everywhere you want to go, including our beautiful beaches. Getting Shipyard's private beach access when hauling a bunch of gear with you is best done via car. There is a circular drop-off area where you can unload close to the beach and from Memorial Day to Labor Day an owner's parking pass is included which provides parking close to the beach. If you are going out after dark to someplace you've never been before to go find in daylight. The island has limited street lighting (part of the allure).

Interaction with guest

When you book with us, Tripadvisor will take the deposit to hold your dates. They'll ask for payment in full 1 month prior to check-in. Once they get your payment, they release your contact information to us. If you have any questions in the meantime, you can contact through Tripadvisor. Once I have your contact information I'll set up gate/beach passes and door codes. In addition, I'll send you some more information about the house and some recommendations for restaurants, bike/beach rentals, etc...|

House rules

Shipayard POA (where our home is located) does not allow RV or motorcycles into Shipyard.
It also does not allow trailers, however you can back a small one into our garage during your stay.
We allow one 40 lbs or under dog per visit with a $250 non-refundable pet deposit.
