Description

The two-bedroom/one bath apartment is located on the garden floor (semi-basement) of a private two-family house. We've recently renovated certain areas and has direct access to the garden. High-speed WiFi throughout, a new kitchen and two bedrooms that can accommodate up to 6 adults + 2 adults on a convertible futon (full size) in the living room. The bedrooms both have queen size beds and cable TV.

We also have an extensive travel library as well as other reading material and NYC resources to help you during your stay.

You will be one of two units to have direct access to our garden. It is a special place full of diverse ornamentals surrounding a wooden gazebo where one can easily retreat from sun or rain. The garden has over 100 hundred different species of plants creating a special micro-ecosystem within the property. Visiting animals at the garden have been great considering the garden's urban location.

Clason Point is a safe neighborhood in the Bronx. Mostly residential but near shopping complex and various local grocers.

Getting around

You can get to the Garden House by NYC transit (Subway: 6 train to Bronx stop: Parkchester & Bus: BX39 to Clason Point). OR NYC Ferry (Soundview line) to Clason Point and then wither walk or take BX39.

Interaction with guest

My house-partner, Gabriel and I are available for our guests as needed. Don Antonio, the property manager is usually around the house if you may need something. We have found that most of our guests prefer their personal space but if you would like a more personal welcoming or orientation, please feel free to request.
