Description

This is a lovely 2 bedroomed apartment (bedroom one has a king size double bed and the second bedroom has two full size singles) with stunning panoramic views, in the white village of Mijas Pueblo. The apartment has also been extensively refurbished and modernised, and now has a very large water tank/heater (providing ample hot water) and a new modern efficient, ducted air conditioning system (to the living area and both bedrooms) which also gives heat in the winter. The apartment is situated in the prestigious Sierra Mar urbanisation, on the quieter side of the village, but it is less than a 5 minute walk to an array of bars, restaurants and shops that are bustling throughout the year. However you choose to spend your day, the village and our apartment has something for you. Lounge on the superb sunbathing terrace by the communal pool, sit drinking wine watching the view from our wonderful terrace, people watch over a coffee at a pavement cafe or browse the many arty and knick knack shops around. It’s all here for you.

For an exact location pull up Mijas Pueblo on Google maps. You will see a large green blob in the middle. Look to the southwest of that and you will see "Bullring of Mijas". Keep going left and you will see Calle Cristobal Alarcon. We are at the bottom end of the street just where it takes a sharp U turn. Sierra Mar is where the "C" of Calle" is on the map. Our apartment looks out southwest towards Fuengirola and the coast. The view, as you will see is magnificent.

Unlike a lot of rental properties in Mijas Pueblo, we will accept bookings for under a week in the Summer Season. Minimum stay in all seasons 3 nights. PLEASE NOTE that there is a 65 euros cleaning charge to be paid directly to our greeter/cleaner at the end of your stay. Our already superb cleaning practice has been overhauled to using UK hospital approved anti Covid cleaning products, brought over from the UK. All keys and remote controllers will be sterilised and put into plastic bags.

Please note that arrivals after 9pm will incur an extra 20 euros, paid direct to our greeter, as she would have to come out purposely for your arrival.

From 2024 we will no longer take children under 18 years old

Getting around

Everything in the village, from museums to chocolate making, is within easy reach. Unfortunately we have had to move all the leaflets from the apartment due to Covid. Public transport is excellent and from the central lower square you can catch a bus in either direction - to take you to Fuengirola or Benalmadena. From Fuengirola a bus or a train will take you all over including Marbella - but I bet you come back wondering what all the fuss is about and saying you prefer Mijas Pueblo :) If you fancy being a bit more relaxed then there is an excellent taxi service in the village. We also have a recommended taxi driver for your airport runs, who charges less for our guests than the usual metred cabs and I can book that for you.

Our aim is not to only give you great accommodation with a view that will mesmerise you, but to give you a holiday experience where you feel confident in us from the minute you book until the day you return and I will always give you any help I can in planning your holiday. We are constantly adding extras to both improve your experience and give us the edge on other apartments. With that in mind, and considering the liquid limitations when flying with just hand luggage, we now provide both shampoo and shower gel. We can also organise/recommend a taxi pickup (and return) from the airport. We are registered and are totally compliant with the Andalucian Rental Authorities rules and have public liability insurance

Pool towels are provided free of charge Please do NOT use bathroom towels by the pool/beach as stains from lotions & sand ruins them. Any evidence that they have been used unsuitably will be charged for out of your returnable deposit.

“Perfect Place”

Stayed in this amazing apartment ideally located for visiting beautiful Mijas Pueblo as well as Benalmadena and surrounding area. The apartment is spotlessly clean , it is equipped with everything you could possibly need ,beds are comfortable,the balcony and views are breathtaking .it also has the quietist air con I have ever known ! There is a lovely pool , pool towels provided , lots of games ,lots of coathangers , loo rolls - even cling film - everything has been thought of ! Attention to detail is prob the best I have ever experienced . The communication with the owner, Lynne, is clear and quick response to any queries- Lynne arranged booking of local restaurants for us,taxi s with lovely Miguel, arranged a bottle of bubbles and a birthday cake on arrival( we were celebrating ) - checked with us that everything was ok - we were met on arrival by Irena who not only cleans to the highest standard she also baked our cake. Irena showed us everything we needed to know on arrival and checked with us again on departure day. If you have not gathered already - I would highly recommend this place - the whole experience from booking to departure was 5 star plus
