Tanners is a delightful chalet bungalow in quiet Port La Salle on the edge of Yarmouth (around a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk from Yarmouth centre). Built in 1998 in the grounds of "Eastmore", an estate with historical connections to the Johnnie Walker whisky empire and Countess of Caernarvon (of Tutenkhamun fame), this beautiful home is a few minutes from the Solent foreshore. With easy access to Yarmouth ferry port, coastal walks and cycle trails this Isle of Wight holiday home is ideal for walkers and cyclists - please ask for our discounted foot & vehicle ferry deals and our short break prices.

This Isle of Wight holiday home is mostly on the ground floor and proving popular with the elderly and those of limited mobility. You enter a welcoming hallway which leads to an open plan living and dining area plus kitchen, two bedrooms (1 with double bed, 1 with 2 single beds) and a family bathroom. Two sets of doors open from the living area onto the private garden – south facing so ideal for those glorious sunny days! Upstairs you will find a further bedroom with double bed and ensuite bathroom, and a separate utility room.

The property is double-glazed and with gas central heating is ideal for holidays and short breaks all year round.

Isle of Wight holiday guests staying for 7 nights or more are welcomed with a hamper of local island produce. A typical hamper will include milk, butter, biscuits, lemonade, jam, cake, eggs, muesli (items can be swapped on request). Fairtade coffee, tea & sugar are also provided in the property.

Yarmouth is a beautiful town at the mouth of the River Yar. Full of history you can explore the 16th century Yarmouth castle and recently restored Grade II listed pier, both offering magnificent views of the Solent. The small streets are charming offering an array of shops, pubs and restaurants. Nearby attractions include Fort Victoria and the Needles Landmark Attraction. Yarmouth is in the heart of splendid countryside with the River Yar estuary, Bouldnor, Hamstead and Newtown offering great places for walking or cycling.
