Description
Furze is the largest of our 3 small cedar chalets offering peace and quiet on the side of the Trebarwith Valley. Furze is the highest chalet and has a stunning seaview across the headlands of the North Cornish Coast. "Furze" sleeps 4 plus 2 on the futon and the 2 smaller chalets " Willow" and " Maple" each sleep 2 plus 2 on the futon. The nearest beach is Trebarwith Strand which is 2 miles away and is dog friendly. The chalets are in a rural location and our guests often see wildlife such as foxes, rabbits and wild deer. There is plenty of parking space in our carpark at road level but it is not possible to park next to the chalets. The access to the chalets is via a fairly steep slope and a path to Willow and Maple and the same slope and around 36 long steps to Furze. For this reason the chalets are not suitable for elderly or incapacitated people. Only Saturday to Saturday bookings please between 27th July and 31st August 2024 - otherwise dates are flexible.
We now have wifi in all chalets and around the site. The wifi has been reliable during the last year but cannot be guaranteed. Wifi will be turned off when thunderstorms are forecast.
Please bring your own duvets, covers, sheets and pillows until further notice.

“Peace, Tranquility and Views.”
Enjoyed our short stay in the chalet, spectacular views, the rural seclusion, wild life and big sky especially at night made our stay quite memorable.

“Great location for Tintagel”
If you like to get back to basics this is the place for you. Wendy (the owner) met us and explained how everything worked and was on hand for any problems. The cabin is up on a hill with great views and absolute peace and quiet. The only downside to the property were the beds, they were a bit hard for our liking!

“Good place to stay & great Location”
We enjoyed our weeks stay at Furze, although I struggled a bit with the steps, I would stay there again. The chalet was clean and had everything we needed. great location for us as we like to go to Trebarwith Strand beach. Wendy was very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble.

“Lovely chalet in peaceful surroundings with a sea view and the dog loved it too.”
The chalet is sufficiently isolated by the 36 step climb to reach it that peace and quiet reigned. A lovely sea view to wake up to and the facilities, in the chalet, were great. The only thing was, it would have benefited from a frying pan for breakfast time. The children and the dog loved the location . I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. The owner is very friendly and helpful.
