With its uninterrupted views towards the Goring Gap, this oak framed barn provides an idyllic romantic retreat. Situated in five acres of beautiful Oxfordshire farmland, complete with resident free-range chickens and a small flock of Welsh Halfbred sheep, you can view the exquisite landscaped gardens and enjoy all the comforts and tranquillity that The Loft has to offer.

Aside from being excellently situated, The Loft is also perfectly located for numerous local attractions. From an enjoyable afternoon spent at Basildon Park or Greys Court, to a weekend of walking The Ridgeway National trail and the Thames Pathway. There are numerous activities right on the doorstep. Whilst the local area has plenty to offer Oxford and London are only a stones' throw away (Oxford approximately 30 minutes by train. London in under an hour) and if that isn't enough to tempt you, don't worry, there is a pub within walking distance too!

The Loft at Grove Farmhouse is set in beautifully landscaped gardens surrounded by five acres of farmland where the owners maintain free range chickens and a small flock of Welsh half-bred sheep who may wish to say hello to you in the mornings! The Loft has been created within an oak framed barn and provides exceptionally comfortable accommodation for two people to escape to the countryside and enjoy the uninterrupted views towards the Goring Gap.

There are numerous local attractions nearby, including National Trust properties at Basildon Park and Greys Court as well as The Ridgeway National trail and the Thames Pathway for keen walkers. Goring and Streatley are both within easy walking distance and offer a range of shops, restaurants and public houses. Oxford is approximately 30 minutes by train from Goring and there are regular trains to London Paddington with a journey time of under one hour.

* Oxford (20 miles) is home to a variety of places to visit including the popular Pitt Rivers Museum and Oxford Castle or explore Oxford by bicycle. Footprints Tours offer a range of tours which enable you to see all of what Oxford have to offer taking in all 38 colleges which wouldn't be possible on foot.

* Explore Wallingford, situated on the banks of the River Thames, home of the town museum with Agatha Christie's home and boathouse nearby. Enjoy the Cholsey and Wallingford Steam Railway, or a walk around the ruins of Wallingford Castle, once one of the largest in the country but largely destroyed by Oliver Cromwell. Wallingford was also home to the filming of popular television show Midsomer Murders as the fictional town of Causton, home to the main character Detective Chief Inspector Barnaby. Props and articles that were used in the show can be found in the town museum.
