A traditional cosy white painted Devon cottage located in a pretty shared courtyard with garden. In the heart of Beer village, very close to Beer Beach. The gated gardens and courtyard provide a quiet sanctuary whilst still allowing easy access to the main street, shops, parking and the beach. Ideal as a base for holidays in the West Country, East Devon and Dorset. Close to Lyme Regis, Sidmouth, Seaton and the Jurassic Coast perfect for walking holidays. We are dog friendly so bring the dog and enjoy coastal walking The National Trust coastline with stunning beaches and quaint fishing harbours is still unspoilt, it’s a step back in time. We are close to two National Parks and many Devon and Dorset attractions.

No 8 provides comfortable modern accommodation for up to six people.

•2 double bedrooms with ensuite facilities for bed 1 and next door shower room for bed 2.

•Sitting room with digital television, a 3 seater sofa and double bed settee.

•Kitchen with microwave, cooker and hob, fridge and washer dryer, dining area and table and chairs.

• Large courtyard and seating area with lawned garden and sun deck shared with No6 and No9

• We are pet friendly and allow one well behaved pet per property. Please see our house rules. Contact us on booking there, is a small £20 charge for a pet to cover any additional cleaning.

•NEED MORE SPACE - Rent No 7 as well which has an adjoining door to No8, this property with it's own bedsittiing room plus kitchen and shower room. The two properties together will sleep 8 people in 2 sofa beds, two double beds, plus 3 bathrooms and 2 kitchens

We will send you full details of where to pick up the key and information about the cottage once your final payment has been made. Tea coffee and milk are provided for your arrival. The beds will be made up and towels and tea towels are also provided. Our housekeeper will have left a contact card in the cottage and you should ring her number if you have any questions during your stay. There is a folder in the cottage with all the information you need for your stay. Park in the village car park across the road and pay for a daily or weekly ticket at the machine by card or cash. Parking is allowed outside of the cottage for loading and unloading.

“Lovely Cottage”

We stayed for three nights over Easter and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was well equipped. Pretty seating area outside. Very comfortable beds. Close to car park. Also shops, fish and chip shop over the road, deli opposite we used and delicious pasties sold there. Very lovely village and hope to stay here again sometime.

How do damage deposits work?

If Jane (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
