Very attractive newly converted annexe to listed 400 year old Sussex farmhouse on the outskirts of Barcombe village, just 4. Miles from the county town of Lewes, The accommodation comprises of a double bedroom with its own tv,,kitchen diner and showeroom wc on the ground floor,with staircase to lounge above .The lounge has tv and a Laura Ashley day bed which will comfortably sleep a third person up to six feet in height. ,glazed door to oak balcony with fantastic far reaching views to Glyndebourne.,and open fields surrounded by woodland..The property is just 15 mins walk from the village centre which has a post office and stores,together with a fine public house ,,The Royal Oak,which has just been refurbished. offering good pub food,and fine Harvey's ale.The Rainbow pub is also within walking distance and has a restaurant and carvery.Barcombe Mills and the Anchor pub with its boating is just a 5min drive .The city of Brighton with all its attractions is 25 mins drive, Goodwood motor racing circuit about 50 mins by car..please note that we have many birds including peacocks,ducks,geese,chickens,doves etc,and although very friendly,sometimes will perch on the balcony and say hello.,because of this we very much regret no pets. All bed linen and towels are provided and free fresh eggs when available

When you arrive by car,drive into the gravel drive and park alongside the cottage,named Robins Rest. The access is via the large old Oak door to your left. If we can be of any help at any time just knock on the door to the main house.

How do damage deposits work?

If Robin (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
