Secluded Charming Home in Historic District

This is a friendly home tastefully decorated with lots of light and pretty views. When entering for the first time, one comes right into the living room and soon discovers that it is the central point. The dining area, the bedrooms (the "yellow" and the "Roman"), the bathroom, and the kitchen are around it. All pieces of furniture and decorations were carefully chosen with your comfort in mind.

The house offers all amenities of a modern lifestyle, including WiFi, access to DISH, and appliances like dishwasher, washer & dryer, toaster, coffee maker, built-in jar opener, hairdryer, etc. In the backyard, over on acre in size, you'll find a long wooden table with benches on both sides, as well as other garden furniture and a fire pit Sitting outside under those magnificent trees, breathing the fresh clean air, and enjoying the silence feels like being a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city. And yet, restaurants, stores, and all the attractions of the downtown area, as well as the race track and the lakes are just minutes away.

This is the perfect vacation spot to enjoy total privacy while being in the middle of it all.

“Hot Springs Birthday Getaway”

Reviewed 14 Nov 2018

When I plan trips really prefer to stay in homes just for the freedom of more space and also more quite. Decided on this home because it shows to be out of the busy area of town and it is. Close enough to Bathhouse Row and downtown to be able to walk yet sadly weather was not on our side so drove. Just a hint, make sure you have quarters if you use the meters. A few lots yet runs $20 a day and one free parking off the main street. Unable to use since I was in a very large truck. Anyways back to the house. Nice little home set up along the hill. Has a carport to use but due to height of truck unable to use and had to be careful of power lines running across drive. You enter into a little foyer then into kitchen which is well stocked for any cooking needs (didn't use because we dined out). Also a small alcove with washer and dryer). Off kitchen in front is the living/dining room. Plenty of lightning and cable tv (only tv in home) not a issue for us since we stayed gone all the time we were there. Wifi also worked very well for those who need this. Nice large window that allows you a nice view into front yard and surrounding area. Has a small porch with a couple of folding chairs but weather did not allow use, sadly. Living area and also from kitchen goes to bathroom (well stocked) and then into two bedrooms. Beds are comfortable and everyone slept very well. Had a very nice stay and Marilou was gracious and arriving at 3 allowed us to come right on in so we could unpack and go sightseeing for the rest of the day.

“Great location!!”

Reviewed 9 Oct 2018

Perfect location, size, and price for our long weekend. This was the first time we rented a house for vacation, and we decided that we will always rent a house for vacation from here on out. Thanks for opening your house to us. We had a wonderful weekend with much needed family time.

“Extremely Satisfied”

Reviewed 19 Sep 2017

Just Returned from my stay in Hot Springs Yesterday Evening. Had a Wonderful time. The home is close to the downtown strip but still secluded. Still private. Very clean and organized. Had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting out on the back porch facing the wooded area drinking our coffee each morning. Beds were very comfortable. The only thing i would add is a bath matt in the Tub. I would definitely stay here again as well as recommend to family and friends.

Response from the owner Many thanks for the review. We are happy to read that our guests are happy with our service. We continuously try to make improvements and appreciate the recommendation of adding a mat for the bathtub. We will take care of it right away. Thanks again.

“served its purpose”

Reviewed 25 Oct 2016

My cousins and I were looking for a quiet relaxing home to rent for the weekend. The home was located in an older neighborhood, with a dog across the street that barked for most of the weekend, but the location was great as it was easy to get around town. The home itself is older and smelled of stale smoke, but it was clean and had what we needed.

Response from the owner Hot Springs is a historic city. There are no new neighborhoods around the attractions. The homes are older, but most people love them because of their old flair. We do everything we can to make our guests happy.
