Description

This cottage was built in 1904. It was lovingly restored last year, but still has the quirks that come with a hundred-year-old structure. If you're expectation is perfection, this probably is not the place for you. If you're looking for a quiet getaway in the heart of a beach community, this is your place.

- Fully furnished, with a stocked kitchen

- Please note, there is no onsite laundry.

- There are 4 total cottages on the property.

Cottage sleeps 2 in a queen bed and has a futon and pack-n-play for a 3rd or children. It is just 300 feet from the beach. It has been updated with new flooring, kitchen and shower while still trying to retain it's original charm. It is a duplex cottage with one shared wall. There is a parking space available for a small/midsize car.

ABOUT OCEAN BEACH

Ocean Beach is close to the airport and you will hear the planes as they take off. They run from 6:30 in the morning - 10:30 at night.

Ocean Beach is San Diego's most laid back beach, with great surfing and one of the County's only dog beach areas. We're a diverse, close-knit community known for it's hippie-vibe. We're not "pristine" so if you're looking for that kind of thing we may not be the ideal neighborhood. Like all of San Diego's beaches we are dense with people and you'll find all kinds here. One thing I can promise is that we are authentic and if you like the idea of the beach, shops and restaurants right outside your door then you'll fit right in. Every Wednesday night we host a farmer's market with fresh, organic produce and live music. We are home to the West Coast's longest concrete pier. Right next to the pier, the tidepools begin, which are a treat for young and old alike. We get treated to free viewings of the Seaworld summer fireworks, and this is definitely the place to base yourself if you plan on visiting the park. Newport Ave is home to funky shops, independent restaurants and bars, and a small antique row. Sunset Cliffs is San Diego's best known spot for watching the sunset and it's a short distance from your door.

Getting around

Every Wednesday night we host a farmer's market with fresh, organic produce and live music. We are home to the West Coast's longest concrete pier. Right next to the pier, the tidepools begin, which are a treat for young and old alike. Interaction with guest

You will have access to the entire cottage and the front deck space. This is your space (not a shared space/room/ or anything like that). You will be left to enjoy the home peacefully and privately, but I am close by if you need anything. Please note that this home is one cottage in a quiet, 4-cottage complex. Two cottages are occupied by long-term tenants. Please be courteous and respect their privacy, as they will yours.

“Cosy Beach Cottage”

Lovely cottage just steps from the beach, dog-friendly, our doggies loved jumping in the waves at Dog Beach every day. Great neighborhood with a friendly corner shop two doors down and parking in the alley. The cottage is very cute with a nice big front deck, nice landscaping and equipped with everything you need for a beach vacation. Thanks so much Emily, we will be back and we just sent the link to friends looking for a beach cottage at OB!

How do damage deposits work?
