“A base for adventures”

We booked this cottage fairly last minute for 4 nights. We were pleased to have the place available at a reasonable price. The cottage is small but that’s ok for two. The owners have put their homely touches on the place and it was clean on arrival. The owners live on the same plot but apart from check in, left us to our holiday. The kitchen is tiny, only room for one at a time but they have tried to think of everything, loads of pans, cutlery and cups plus tea/coffee, kitchen roll and cleaning equipment. I always bring my own knife because rental knifes are rarely sharp - I was glad for it because there was only a tiny paring knife for veg prep. Downsides for me were that the bed was too soft and the sofa uncomfortable. A bit of investment in a decent firm mattress and attaching the headboard would greatly improve this place.

“Lovely small cottage”

Easy found cottage just for two in Lamlash. Perfect wee retreat,friendly host who lived next door.All that we needed,comfy bed,hot shower and easy to use heating system.

“Good Stay”

Nice little place- very quiet. Lamlash is a good spot from which to explore Arran and Seaburn Cottage a good base. Isobel was welcoming, and we enjoyed the fresh eggs.

How do damage deposits work?
