Description

Our delightful fully furnished family home between Dalmally and Loch Awe offers a relaxed and comfortable base to tour the western highlands, 80 miles north of Glasgow and 25 miles east of Oban over looking the Ben Cruchan mountain range the house has 5 bedrooms sleeping 8 guests.

The open plan lounge / dining area and well equipped kitchen ensures that your stay will be comfortable, giving you that home from home feeling. You will find a selection of books, puzzles and games for everyone to enjoy.

Of the 5 bedrooms the house has, two are located on the ground floor. Both a single bedroom and an ensuited double bedroom offer access to those who prefer not to climb the stairs to bed! A utility room with washing machine and drier are available along with a further cloakroom.

The large fully fitted kitchen is well equipped to enable our guests to cook everything from a microwave meal for one to a 3 course dinner for 10 people.

Upstairs lies a further twin bedroom and single bedroom both of which enjoy views over the rear garden. The large en-suited master bedroom with its panoramic windows and three velux windows offers stunning views over the Cruachan Monro range. The family bathroom with its double ended bath and over bath shower is also located upstairs. All bedrooms have adequate drawers and wardrobes.

There is a travel cot and high chair at the property and because we understand how complicated travelling with children can be there is even a waterproof bed protector and plug in night lights to give you and your little ones peace of mind.

The spacious garden has plenty of room for little ones to run around and the bird table ensures a regular supply of visitors to keep you entertained. You will find some bird spotting books and binoculars at the property to help you recognise them all!

“Family and friends west of Scotland holiday”

The house was a fantastic base to share with old friends. Spacious, clean and comfortable. Great for exploring the west coast. We went to Oban, Mull, Inveraray and walks. Handy to be able to get the train from Dalmally station.

Well appointed house had everything we needed. We appreciated the gas cooker after experience of electric hobs in other years and the individual heat controls that let us keep bedrooms cool. The bird feeders provided interest during breakfast and dinner. The large living room was ideal for our work with botanical specimens in the evenings.

My family booked to visit the highlands for New year. This is truly a stunning location. Made all the better by the house. Photos simply can't and don't do the place justice. It's size and comfort are amazing. Kitchen is to die for and plenty of ablutions for the whole family. We'd love to Rebook..

“Perfect family holiday home”

This lovely property is ideally situated for exploring the west of Scotland and islands. The owners have thought of everything to ensure you have all you need for a great stay from binoculars to admire the scenery to DVDs and children's books which my granddaughter loved. They were also friendly and helpful with directions and information before our holiday. The typical Scottish weather did not spoil our stay as the house was so welcoming and comfortable that we were happy for an excuse to spend more time there. The only thing we felt was missing was garden furniture-although due to the weather we wouldn't have used it. Don't stay here without visiting the fish and chip van at Lagganbuie farm shop- five stars! I have no hesitation in recommending this beautiful property and hope to return when the sun is shining.
